Many of your fiction efforts have a charity connection. Tell us about that, and why.
The first charity donations I did were for Animal Attraction 1, an anthology that Torquere Press published in 2007. My charities of choice were Peace River Refuge and Ranch for wildlife rescue and In Harmony with Nature, a domestic pets rescue.
For Animal Attraction 2, which released in 2009, I chose Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue based in Maryland (gentlegiantsdrafthorserescue.com) and Florida Draft Horse Rescue (drafthorserescue.org) based in Florida. These non-profit charities provide rescue and rehab efforts for the draft breeds of horses: Belgians, Clydesdales, Percherons, Shires, and other heavy breeds.
