Sienna froze, the happy grin on her face locking into a ridiculous, awkward half-curve.
The entire office erupted into chaos before she could even process the news.
"Did I hear that right? What did Sienna do wrong to get fired?"
"Must be a mistake from upper management! Sienna was hardworking, kind, and even helped clean up the company's bad culture. What on earth is leadership thinking?"
While everyone bickered back and forth, Sienna finally snapped out of her shock.
Her face darkened with humiliation. She'd never been this publicly embarrassed before.
