Professor Zane Kross didn’t even glance at me as he said it, he just dropped the verbal bomb like it meant nothing and walked out of the class like he didn’t just light my entire life on fire.
The door shut behind him with a final click and there was total silence in the class.
Then, every single head in the room turned to me like I’d just grown horns, or worse like I’d been marked, again.
