Liam’s POV
My eyes stayed fixed on my pretty boy… Or should I say… my pretty little girl.
“Mmm. Well, that’s going to be a hell of a mess when you wake up, sweetheart,” I muttered under my breath, glancing down at the unconscious, naked trouble magnet curled into my chest like the world wasn’t falling apart outside.
I sighed, brushing a stray lock of damp hair off her flushed face. Cute. Even while half-dead and drooling on my feathers.
“Alright then,” I grumbled, tightening my wings securely around her as another angry BOOM rattled the ground beneath my feet. My barrier flared, struggling under the Alpha's relentless fury. “Let’s get out of here before the big bad wolf outside catches on to your precious little secret.”
