JULIA’s POV
Sergio coming into my life is changing a lot of things, kind of upsetting my normal life and putting himself in the stark middle of it all.
I look back him to find him watching me and remove my eyes quickly.
He is here meddling in my life, coming here to this little restaurant. Why?
A month ago nothing would have brought him here in the first place.
“Is that who I think it is??” Beatrice whisper yells behind me .
“Yes.” I confirm her suspicion.
“What is he doing here??” She asks in both fear and awe.
“He came to get a drink and a piece of your blueberry pie.” I tell her.
She looks confused.
“You mean Sergio Costello is here because he wants a glass of Diet Coke and a plate of blueberry pie??” The look on sheer disbelief on her face assuages me.
