"Okay then. I'll leave you to it. But if you need any help at all getting a job at any firm I can help you do that. It's going to be nothing for me. Just a couple of phone calls and you'll have what you want." He says.
I smile and frown again.
“Thank you. That’s really nice of you.” I say.
I clear my throat and ask him softly.
“Why are we here Sergio?? I want you to be truthful to me. Why did you bring me here in the first place ?? You have been so nice and for what?? You brought me to have dinner and you are now offering to help me get a job..... I don’t understand.” I tell him.
“I want you to tell me what you want from little ole me. Everybody wants something. You are a really important person and I’m sure you have a million other things to do than sit here and eat dinner with me.”
