THIRD PERSON'S POV.
Midnight club was one of the biggest and most expensive clubs in the city. It was a hotspot. With only celebrities and the wealthy that could come there. One needed a recommendation to get into the club which was no problem for Carolina since her family had great connections.
The club was indeed very fancy. It's interior was even more elegant. There were fewer people than the regular clubs and the sound was not killing Katherine at every second. But the club had something in common with other regular clubs.
The club was full as sweaty bodies grinding together. Katherine was being pulled by her besties through the crowd.
Katherine could admit that the club was more high end and fancy looking than the other clubs she had been to thanks to Carolina.
"There are a lot of people here!" Katherine said loudly to Lina over the blaring music.
"Don't worry we are going to the VIP area!" Carolina shouted back.
Carolina gestured to an area at the corner before pulling Katherine with her. Katherine nodded her head and watched as Carolina helped her navigate through the club until they got to an entrance that was covered with a red velvet curtain that led to a long hallway.
At the end of the hallway was an elevator that was guarded by a very scary looking man in a black suit.
As they headed towards the man Carolina raised her phone showing the man something displayed on her screen.
The man nodded his head before pressing the button, and the elevator dinged open.
He motioned for them to get in.
Kate muttered a small thank you to him before getting in.
The door closed back and the elevator started going down.
"It's an underground club. Isn't that awesome." Carolina said happily.
"I guess." Katherine wasn't really feeling like clubbing but she had to admit that an underground club was kind of cool and scary.
"This would be good for you. For us. God knows I could do with letting out some steam."
"Maybe you are right." Katherine agreed with her.
It's no news that kate doesn't like clubbing. She loves a good party but she didn't quite enjoy loud sounds and sights of people grinding on themselves and ripping out their clothes right on the dance floor.
Carolina was right. Last Saturday she had to watch her ex-boyfriend get engaged to her sister. She also had to deal with an abusive employee at work. She could do with letting out some steam.
A few drinks couldn't hurt.
I'm not going to be so hung up on my failing love life. Carolina is right I should let my hair down sometimes.
Katherine gave herself a little pep talk. The elevator stopped moving and opened. The place had fewer people and more popular faces. This club was mostly attended by celebrities and the rich.
The club was fancier than the one upstairs.
Carolina and Katherine headed down the stairs and towards the bar area. Katherine was already on her second drink. She didn't care that she was going a little too fast. She decided she was in a club and she was there to let loose and do something crazy.
Her eyes wandered around the club. She looked up to see that another group of people were upstairs and they were demacated by a translucent glass wall.
"What's that section for?" Kate turned to Carolina.
Carolina looked at the direction Kate was pointing to before going back to her drink.
"Those are the VVIPs. The very powerful and rich fellas" Carolina explained.
Katherine nodded her head in understanding and shurgged off the explanation. Although she had a small stiffling curiosity to go there and see what was going on in a place like that but she shurgged it off.
"I'm going to the dance floor do you wanna come with?" Carolina stood up from her stool and turned to Kate
"No. Maybe later. Go without me." Katherine turned down the offer.
"Okay." Carolina decided to leave her friend to enjoy herself before heading to the dance floor.
Kathy watched as Carolina swayed her hips on the dance floor. In few seconds a few guys were already swarming her. Katherine was aware of how attractive her friend was.
Carolina could pass as a supermodel for the Victoria secret. She had a body shape to die for. Gorgeous brown eyes and smooth olive skin. No one would expect she actually loves to eat...a lot. Katherine was aware of her friend beauty as Carolina was aware of her her's.
Katherine ordered a glass of water. She could already feel her vision getting hazy. Her drink was stronger than she thought. Katherine told herself she would dance but she was sure if she stood up she'll end up kissing the floor
She took a large glup from her cup and tried to sober up a little. Her eyes wandered around the club as she began to feel bored in a place where boredom was supposed to be the least emotion found there. Katherine could admit that the club's interior was beautiful. It was obvious that this place was reserved for the rich.
Her eyes wandered up to the people behind the translucent glass, but before she could take her eyes away her brown eyes caught a pair of grey once.
Katherine didn't know why but she couldn't look away from the pair of grey eyes. The eyes were cold and hard but she found herself not able to look away. Her eyes wandered from the grey eyes to the owner.
A gasp almost escaped her mouth at the sight of the beautiful man in front of her. His face was hard and emotionless but Katherine could see that he was very attractive.
His cheekbones were defined. He had perfectly shaped eye brows that would make any woman jealous and a clean five o'clock shadow.
His aura felt intimidating. Katherine immediately took her eyes away and back to her glass of water that is now almost half empty.
She turned to the bartender to ask for another glass but found herself asking for two vodka shots.
She squeezed her face as the liquid burnt her throat. Katherine always felt that vodka was a drink she couldn't handle and was way too strong for that but she was unexpectedly trying to calm herself.
She tried to focused on the drink in front of her and not the urge to look back at the translucent glass.
She felt uneasy like someone was looking at her looking up. Her beyes strolled around the club until it wandered back again to the translucent wall. Her eyes widen at the sight of the grey eyed handsome devil still staring at her. She immediately took her eyes away trying to act normal.
She looked around for Carolina to tell her where the bathroom was but could see that her friend was dancing with a guy with a swimmer's body. Katherine couldn't help the small smile that came to her lips. He was just Lina's type. She decides to look for the door herself. She headed to the door that was at the corner of the large room.
That should be the bathroom.
Katherine stood up and headed to the door. She opened it but just got into a hall with doors at either side of it. The hall was long and seemed it would go on forever.
Katherine opened the first door on her right but closed it right back.
That is definitely not the bathroom.
She thought as she placed her palm against her cheeks to cool it.
It seemed like a private room filled with men and women doing things. Katherine immediately shook and head and tried to continue her journey to find the bathroom.
"Where are you going mam?" She turned around to see a young guy in his mid twenties.
"Bathroom. Do you know where it is?"
"Uhh... Take a right turn in the hallway the door at the far end."
"Thank you." Katherine said but let out a giggle at the end, for reasons unknown to her at that period.
Yup...the vodka has kicked in. I'm definitely not sober.
She walked down the hall. She looked to her the left and right turn like she was in an alien maze.
"Did he say right or left?" She asked herself.
Katherine realised she wasn't listening and was only focused on the fact that he has a big blue eyes and was definitely too cute to be working at a club. That would be the reason why she giggled.
She turned to her left to see a door at the end of the hall.
He definately said a door at the end of the hall. So left it is.
She hurried down the hall. She felt tipsy. She opened the door only to be met with stairs.
He didn't say anything about stairs. So much trouble to go through to get a bathroom.
She groaned before she started up the stairs and opened the door at the end only to enter a large room.
She walked further into the room.
I don't think this is the bathroom.
She said to herself. She turned to leave but the door suddenly opened and standing in front of her was the grey eyed man.
