Maverick I stood by the window, gazing out at the garden downward as I sensed someone's presence behind me, his steps was drawing closer, I turned to look at the person. "Ryder," My face gather up a frown. Alex would have to answer why this man was allowed in my house, "Good to see you, Maverick, It's been a while." He grinned. "What brings you here?" I asked curtly, shifting my gaze back to the window. I didn't want to get into small talk. At least not with this one. I heard him exhaled and plopped himself into my sofa, "Not even a drink?"
