Callie I woke at the c***k of dawn, not nearly as bothered by the time as I predicted. The excitement of getting to see Selena’s vineyard spurred me on and I put on the most casual clothes I brought even though they weren’t that comfortable. Despite the early hour, the town was already awake and the traffic showed it. Boats with white sails were pulling into the small harbour and the faintest light from the rising sun cast a wonderful glow over the little town. The steep hills were studded with prickly bushes and colourful flowers that emitted a cacophony of smells. What a truly beautiful place. I thought about getting Nicholas to drive me but that felt like it would defeat the spirit of the day. Instead, I walked from the hotel to the vineyard and regretted it all the way. Embarrassingl
