Alana was focused on Chinh’s murder but couldn’t shake the fascination she had with the collection of photos of the Paletti Notebook. Priest reminded her not to assume too much but she too was well absorbed in the collection and couldn’t stop pouring through the various images and trying to piece them together.
“Look here,” Aggie said. “These pictures clearly mark the designs of Leonardo da Vinci’s water wheel. And these,” he held a document up proudly, “can be none other than his anatomical sketches of females.”
Priest stared at the photo and realized that it was a very detailed and very intimate drawing of the female vulva. Certainly within the realm of da Vinci’s curiosity, but Priest reminded himself that the great artist had a similar fascination with the genitals of men.
