ENZO’S POV
I carefully took the note out of Aiden’s hand and gazed at the words written there. A sharp pang spread through my chest as I read the words, over and over again.
The weight of her rejection crashed down on me, and I felt my throat tighten. Doubts and insecurities swirled in my mind, but I couldn’t let my brothers see my pain.
Derek’s voice was sharp and filled with anger. “Who does she think she is? We put thought and effort into those gifts, and she just tosses them aside?”
Aiden’s voice echoed Derek’s sentiment. “She’s ungrateful, Enzo. After everything we’ve done for her, this is how she repays us?”
