DEREK’S POV
I blinked, my mouth hanging open at the ridiculous accusation Aiden has just thrown at me. I scoffed, folding my arms as I furrowed my eyebrow.
“Look, Aiden, I know we’re all unsettled and scared, but that does not give you the right to tho baseless accusations at me you know.”
My words seemed to only fuel his anger as his jaw clenched and he glared at me, his gaze going cold.
“You should’ve just let us stay with her last night! If we were with her, we wouldn’t be so frantic, looking for her everywhere right now!”
I pinched the bridge of my nose as a sigh left my lips. I walked over to Aiden, placing a hand on his shoulder.
“Look, Aiden, let’s all just calm down. I know you’re stressed, and worried about Arielle, but we’ve called the guards and patrol services
