I stood there, frozen in place, as Arielle’s words pierced the air like shards of glass. Her eyes blazed with anger, her voice trembling with a mixture of hurt and indignation. Enzo and Aiden, stood beside me, equally stunned by her outburst. I struggled to maintain my composure, to hide the shock that threatened to wash over my face.
“What... What are you talking about, Arielle?” I managed to stammer, my voice betraying a hint of surprise. I desperately hoped that she was bluffing, and that she had no knowledge on our plan.
