AIDEN’S POV
I kept my gaze fixed on the crimson liquid splattered down on the rocky ground, a look of scepticism in my eyes. I crouched down, bringing a finger to the blood and dipping it into the liquid. I brought my bloody hand to my nose, sniffing it.
My nose wrinkled as I got up to my feet. My eyes trailed to the trackers who were standing in front of me.
“This blood... it’s f*****g animal blood,” I spat.
They all shot each other nervous glances, as they refused to speak.
“How did you all not know that this blood does not belong to Arielle? And you call me down here and waste my time with this nonsense!”
They all flinched, they gaze travelling to the floor. My whole body fumed with anger as I paced around and ran my hands into my hair as frustration slowly settled in
