ARIELLE’S POV
I slowly opened my eyes, the soft morning light filtering through the curtains, casting a warm glow on my room. The sound of muffled voices outside my door disrupted my peaceful slumber, drawing me out of my drowsiness. Curiosity piqued, I swung my legs over the side of the bed and stood up, feeling the cool floor beneath my feet.
As I made my way towards the living room, the voices grew louder. I followed the sound, the anticipation bubbling within me.
