Luna Queen Sarah’s POV
As I sit in my office talking to Jasper on the phone, my emotions are ruffled when I am informed of Joanna’s return. “Joanna?” I utter her name so quietly that I doubt the words could be heard.
“We all know what you said, Sarah. Nathan knows, and he’s not happy,” Jasper says with an element of disgust in his voice. But if anyone should be disgusted, it’s me. I gave Joanna a direct order, and she disobeyed it. “She should never have come back,” I snapped and hung up the phone.
Leaning back in my chair, I thought about Joanna. I have hated her for as long as I can remember. But where did that hatred start? Then I recall. It all began on the day I met Nathan. She was there to ruin our special moment. She was there to ruin every moment.
