Macy POV
Jasper and I are just finishing up on my training for the day, he seems off, distracted somehow.
" Is everything all right, Jasper?"
He looks over at me as if I have just pulled him from a deep thought.
" Yes, I'm fine little one. Nothing to concern yourself with." he says, with a half smile. Everything in me tells me not to believe him.
" So are you prepared for your marking spell?" he asked, changing the subject before I could try and pry.
" Yes, I think so. I have everything I need except for the silver dagger." I say and bite my lip trying to think of a place where I could locate such an item.
" I have one for you. stay here, I'll be right back."
