Married to a Contract

Chapter 2

“Mom you can't just say thing like that “! Matteo exclaimed after his mom brought up the topic of marrying Matteo. Lexi who's face is already red from embarrassment chuckles lightly and says “Yes and plus I have a boyfriend”, Sandra doesn't want to let it go “Well you can break up with your boyfriend and marry my handsome son Matteo, it will be kike a movie where the boss and Secretary falls in love together", Matteo who is clearly feeling uncomfortable says “No mom please stop"

Lexi checks Matteo schedules for the day and sees he has a meeting by 2:30pm, so she goes to remind him about his meeting, “You have a scheduled meeting at 2:30pm" Lexi says. Matteo doesn't even acknowledge her and says without looking up “bye you can leave now, what else are you waiting for"? At this point Lexi isn't even surprised about his behaviour, she has been working for 5 years and she's really used to it. She doesn't care cause the pay is high.

Lexi calls the company car to take Matteo to the meeting place, she knows the meeting will take long so she can leave early today. After Matteo leaves she waits 30 minutes then leave the company for the day, she phones up her best friend. Her best friend’s name is Rachael.

Lexi: Hey girl, you busy?

Rachael: Nah girl, I closed the shop early today.

Lexi: Me too I finished early today.

Rachael: Want to meet at that “All you can eat buffet Pizza"?

Lexi: We always get so stuffed and can't walk after wards.

Rachael: That's the best part.

Lexi: Okay fine I'm in.

Lexi packs her bag and begins to leave. She always waits 30 minutes to see if Matteo will need anything, and if he doesn't need anything after 30 minutes he won't need anything again through out the day. Her best friend Rachael has flower shop, she's a florist.

Lexi takes a cab and meets at the “Aycebp place" which is abbreviation for “All you can eat buffet Pizza place". She sees Rachael is there already and take her seat beside her. Rachael is a tall girl with height of 5’8, she is a red head with curls, she has a curvy body with a pretty face and nice smile.

Lexi joins her at her table “Hey girl, were you hear before I called how come you got here so fast”, Rachael replies “Oh I was nearby”. Lexi and Rachael both go to the counter and pay for the meal, they split the bill, you can pay for 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours. The pay for one hour, they are given a card and go through the door to the buffet place. It is filled with All kinds of pizza: Pepperoni pizza, Meat, pizza, Cheese pizza, Margherita pizza amd other types. Lexi and Rachel look at each other, giggles and says “This is what heaven looks like".

As they were eating Rachael got a text from her phone she checked to see who it was then she blushed after seeing the message, “Who got you smiling like that"? Lexi asked her giving a smirk, Rachael was as red as a potato “No one" she replied. Lexi doesn't think the person making her smile is a no one “C’mon tell me who is it" Lexi says not backing down. Rachael finally gives in and says “fine it's just this guy we've been talking and all I'm not sure". Lexi's face changes from curiousness to concern “You know it's not been long since you and Vincenzo broke up”, Rachael rolls her eyes and says “Well a girl's got to move on" Lexi is puzzled “don't just jump from one relationship to the other I'm really worried about your heart and feelings, the human heart has really light strings that holds it and one could legit die from a heartbreak". Rachael rolls her eyes again saying “Whatever Lexi, yes mom", “I'm really serious” Lexi says.

They finish their 1 hour and finished eating to their satisfaction, they can barely move “I'm so stuffed" Racheal yells, “I can barely move” Lexi says, they look at each other and start laughing “ow" they both exclaimed in pain “it hurts to laugh, Lexi call a chauffeur to take us" Lexi phones one. They both arrive at their house and as Lexi is about to crash on her bed she sees a reminder that reads “meeting in Giovanni's house tomorrow” she let's out a loud sign saying “I'm so tired of working, I wanna quit and marry a rich man that will take care of me I've always worked so hard my whole life, why can't I just marry a rich man" Suddenly a voice came from the other man and said “Marry me then" in fear she jumped up it was as if her heart had jumped into her stomach she could feel the pounding it was so loud she was trying to catch her breath and tell her self no one is here it's just in my head she grabbed a bat and shouted “WHO IS THERE”? As she turned on the light she saw a figure and their face and that was the last thing she saw until she fell on the hard floor “BAM"

When Lexi woke up and felt a deep head ache “ow my head hurts" she says and the same mysterious voice said out loud “Why won't it"? She jumped again her heart still pounding and this time she sred the face behind the voice and calms a bit down but now she is more shocked than scared “Mr. Matteo, what are you doing here"? Matteo clears his throat and says “You were talking about marrying rich why don't you just marry me" Lexi who is puzzled asks “Why are you in my house”? How did you manage to get in”? Why do you want to marry me”? Matteo rolls his eyes “one question at a time" he says.

Lexi who is clearly still in shock "Why do you want to marry me"? "You barely know me" she yells. Matteo laughs get a hold of your self "I know you've secretly wanted me for years, well your wish has come true" at this point Lexi is pissed and says "You barge into my house, scare the s**t out of me and now you're here saying I would want to marry you" she pauses to laughs and continues "even if you were the last boy on earth I'll rather die single than to be with someone like you" except she didn't say that cause he is her boss and she can't afford getting fired.

Chapter 3

Lexi tries so hard not to roll her eyes “How did you even get in?” She asks “My dad isn't even home to open the door for you” Matteo walks round her house looking at everything “Oh Lexi you're so predictable, you left an extra key under your mat"
