CHAPTER 7 ~ A WOMAN OVER MY BUSINESS???!

*Who's she?*a man sitting at the back of a Rolls Royce Sweptail asked. He seemed lyk the boss...

The man sitting close to him looked confused at him as he looked out of the window.

"who sir??"

'never mind,so hw many minutes before we get there?' Clarus asked

"Give or take,30 minutes before we get there sir,"Richard answered and Clarus sat back on the chair,placing his head comfortably well.....

The two arrived at the hotel,an expensive art exhibit was being displayed and Clarus was invited for the event.....they were both ushered to a table......

" I'm Helen,"a pretty lady walked up to Clarus

"Do we have an appointment,young lady??,talk to him", Clarus said rather coldly pointing towards Richard who looked away lyk he did not hear what his boss just said....

I beg ur pardon??you're Clarus and it's u I want to talk to,she said embarrassed

Clarus stared at her for a moment and he looked away"speak woman",the display is about to begin.

"Your father,Donald Drake actually arranged for us to meet here,he told my parents it was a good opportunity",Helen said boldly.

You crazy man!Clarus cursed inaudibly and stared at Richard

*did u know of dis",he asked

Richard afraid of his boss wrath only nodded

u can talk,can't u???!Clarus asked once more...

"ur father warned me not to talk of it to u sir,"Richard said..

"Are u meant to be loyal to me or him"?,the angry man asked and Richard kept mute as Helen stared on feeling pity for Richard.

Richard know what his boss wanted and so he excuses himself and left.

"You shouldn't have spoken to him dat way,u were so mean ",Helen spoke in a whisper and his sharp gaze shifted to her and as quickly moved away his eyes ignoring her.

Just as soon as the host was about to begin, Richard ran out to Clarus.

"Sir, there's an emergency ",

Clarus seemed satisfied,though he knew his assistant was making it up.

Sir,seems lyk we'll have to cancel this and get goin now. Richard added and Clarus stood up.

"So sorry,but the date,I mean"us"? Helen hopefully asked.

"Does it look lyk I'll choose a woman over my business?".Clarus asked and walked out with Richard.

I was planning on punishing u,but cos of what I did,I'll temper justice with mercy,but,the next time I keep sth away from me?? I promise u'll pay dearly for it... Clarus threatened and Richard nodded his head in agreement knowing it was not an empty threat....

"It has been two long years, Aaron,let it slide", Edward said to his brother in Aaron's house and the former looked angry.

"Get out Edward or I'll call the guards out on u",Aaron said in a low tone, though with visible anger raging in him.

She's just lyk other girls Aaron, nothing special about her,she wasn't even dat pretty..... Edward tried talking Aaron out..

"U know u're making dis pretty worse right??,just get the heck out of my house and I'll pretend we never even had dis conversation". Aaron said.

And 'yes',she meant a whole lot to me,u promised ull keep her happy and safe and now, u're telling me I sent her out cos she didn't jump into ur hungry den?????...... Aaron shouted.

So do u think I made the wrong call here?? Edward asked..

"Clean up ur mess urself and dance to the tune of ur own music,I'm goin after her and there's nothing u can do about it,so do u want to get out of my way or should I just* press the red button*??

Edward quietly moved aside as he watched his brother leave without saying a word to him.....
