I MADE IT back to Frannie’s around six. Tank showed up a half an hour later with Raptor and his brother-in-law Cole, who was also a club member.
“Where are Raina and the kids?” Frannie asked, looking disappointed. “I thought you said they’d be coming over as well?”
Tank, who was holding a bag of groceries, sighed and scratched his forehead. “Sorry, I forgot to mention that Gracie Lee and Billy are both sick. Raina stayed home with them, obviously.”
