Chapter TenVikki decided the weather suited her mood perfectly. The mercury had frozen at thirty and thick, black-bellied clouds grouped the sky in threatening formation. Lungful’s of cold air had little effect on her body. Why should it? She had been numb for the last twenty-four hours and the grimness of her surroundings only echoed the bleakness in her heart.
