Isabel stopped at the front pew where her parents stood, and gave her mother a kiss first. “I love you, mama,” she said, hugging her tight and fighting the tears. She next kissed her father’s cheek, and realized she could no longer hold them in. “I love you, papa,” she said as she sniffled. “Don’t cry, my little Isa,” her father whispered. “Rathcavan is a good man, if I wasn’t certain of that I never would have let you come up here without me.” Isabel chuckled softly. “I figured as much,” she said before kissing his cheek again. “I’ll see you back at the castle.” Moving on, she kissed her aunts, and uncles and behind her Penelope and Charlotte did the same as the three bridal couples went outside and into the Rathcavan carriages.
