Untold prophecy

Zoey and I had been trying this incation thing. We even decided to bring some candles to welcome spirits. I was hoping to speak to mum. if we managed to get through to the other side. I knew mum's side had strong witchcraft background and she taught me what she knew secretly not wanting them to know that I am also a very powerful witch.

Since I was surrounded by nature I decided to call upon the four elements. Water,air,fire and earth to help me with my search and journey. After doing so I called upon the spirit of my late mother. Zoey's hands and eyes were shut. I didn't want her to see the world I lived in. Maybe in due time, our connection was growing stronger by the day I fully trusted her with my life. All of the sudden I heard my mum's voice humming a song she used to sing to me.

"My little angel spread your wings and fly. Shine like you were meant to. My baby girl be strong and fight them. The battle has just began."

That was new. Which battle was she talking about. I knew my mom talked a lot in riddles but this was out of hand.

"A child born of a human mother and a demon king father. On her birthday an apocalypse shall take place." she added.

I had no clue that's what happened when I was born.She never talked about it since she lost her mate and it was driving her insane. I missed her voice singing lalabyes to me before bed, combing my hair and telling me stories about how she fell in love with Dad and how he was so crazy protective over her. He nearly beat up everyone that come close with her she loved him like crazy. To the moon And from. He was her rock and the day I was to be born had to be the day the separated. I wish I grew up knowing him too. How he looked like and everything. Zoey was still hugging me. When the spell was done I looked at her.

"I spoke to mum. My mum!" I couldn't believe it. Even if I tired to I couldn't.She didn't say anything but just held me tight.

"I miss her so much. Both of them, even if I never had the chance to met him in person."

I opened to her easily. I had to pull myself together as we were heading back to the cabin.

"I wander what the guys are doing."she finally spoke.

"Probably play video games"

I was right. They had a play station set up and were playing mortal Kombat.
