Chapter 6 what's mine

Night time.

I was in bed done with my homework , brushed my teeth combed my hair and was now time for me to do my other stuff like check my text. I found a message from a strange line.

unknown: hi hope you are fine now

Anna:yes I'm, thanks for asking.

unknown:you welcome. just never pull off what you did you got me worried.

Anna: whose this

unknown: Miss Dark

Anna: Martin Nathaniel Good

Martin: you know me so well.

I couldn't resist the argue to roll my eyes.

" We talked for almost an hour. I asked him why at of everyone he had to get back with Amber when he knew perfectly well it will hurt me. He didn't answer that he just apologized. He asked me to be his date for his birthday. I literally wanted to scream but I couldn't Dean asked me to be his date and I couldn't go with him. I hope we get to be close again.He had to bring up Dean and I being an item which I laughed I guess he didn't find it funny I told him Dean was helping me with my grievance and to help me go through the cramp you put me in" I told Zoey.

She sounded pleased with what I told her.

"what's next?"

I thought deeply and answered her as honest as I could.

"I don't know really maybe we will get back but it's up to him. If he wants to get back with me or not."

Friday after classes, I drove Zoey home and I met her family well it was her mother and father she was an only child just like I was.

"Ma'am I'm back from school. I'm with a friend." she yelled from the door.

A beautiful ethuastic woman walked in from the kitchen. She had Zoey's dirty blonde hair curly and aqua green girls just like Zoey.

"Good afternoon Mrs Zeke."

"Afternoon Annabella. You're probably the only friend female that my daughter has ever brought home and she talks about you a lot so I put two and two together."

"My mum's a deactivate." Zoey pointed out.

"Mum we will be going upstairs and later to the mall. Tomorrow will be the twins birthday we need to figure out what to get them."

I envied Zoey so much she seemed to be best friends with her mom and I was sad I did not have any of my parents. I wish I had that. We went to her room damn it was huge. She had two walking in wadrops. Zoey removed her and I saw a tattoo on Zoey's back of Erin's name

"O.M.G. you have a tattoo."

"Yes. Well I think it was on the twins 18th birthday we were so drunk the was some huge party well we had a tattoo artist and yeah. When I come home the following day and my mom saw it she flipped out and told me to save money for a laser surgery. She quickly went to her bath room and took a quick bath after she come out with towel and another on her hair. She walked into one of the wadropes, she wore a black leather skirt a white vest and boots. she left her hair down. She also carried a duffle bag for the party and some make up.

"Mama we're going now."

Her mum come out with a tray of cookies and we each got some.

Mrs Zeke kissed Zoey's cheek.

"Mum am not a kid."

"Am not a baby anymore."

She signalled her mom and the mother noticed a sad and sorrowful look on my face.

"What's wrong baby."

"I lost my mother when I was 11 and my dad before I was born. seeing you and Zoey made me wish and think of them." I told her honestly.

She gave me a hug and I almost cried.

We left for the mall and had fun shopping we bought the guys their presents and went to have lunch. After lunch we went back home we went to my place and had a sleepover till their big day. I called him I wanted to be the first person to wish happy birthday and I was we talked for two to three hours and Zoey kept on shouting for us to hush up.
