A new dawn chapter two

Sunday had come fast. Uncle Zen was down stairs having his breakfast.

"Anna! Annabella" he called out for me.

"Yes. I'm coming."

I rushed downstairs to see what he was calling me for

he signalled me to take a sit next to him. So I did as I was told. I waited for him to speak first before I said a word to him.

"Annabella I was thinking of enrolling you in a high school. It's one of the best. Would you like to." As he spoke he tired to read the facial expressions I would make or object to. But my face was blank. I had learnt to hide my emotions.

"Uhmm yes. I would love to thank you." I told him honestly. No one has ever been so good to me.

"Your first class is tomorrow."

"Thank you so much uncle Zen."

"Kiddo you don't need to thank me. We are family after all."

Monday had come. My first day of high school. in fact normal school. I decided not to over dress or under dress. The first thing I did was go for my routined morning jog. By the time I come back had to take a quick shower and I choose a white denim shot, I black vest and a checked long sleeve shirt with all white all stars. I tired my hair in a ponytail. My hair was above shoulder length curly black in colour I dyed the to white. I headed down stairs and I found miss Evans had already prepared breakfast. Uncle Zen was seated at the table eating his food, I wasn't really hungry, so I decided on taking a fruit ' an apple' and a slice of sandwich and I was about to head out. I think I might be using the bus as a means of transportation.

"Good morning Annabella."

"Good morning Uncle Zen."

"You're not having your breakfast."

"No I'll be fine with just this." I showed him the apple and sandwich i had.

"Uncle how will I be going to school."

" Oh yeah! I almost forgot. Close your eyes and don't pick."

I did as I was told and he laid me to the door.

"You can open them now."

I did as I was told behold their was a yellow farrai outside. I had no clue if it was mine or I just had to use it for school purpose.

"Here is your car and the keys to it." I was so speechless the only thing I did was hug him. I was not the kind of person to show my emotions just like an open book can be read.

"Thank you for everything." I told him once again.

I drove my new car to school and was directed to the parking lot. I saw a free space and that's were I decided to park. When I got out there was a car parked behind mine. Black BMW latest make. Some girl come out of the car she wore a mini skirt leather, high heeled boots a boob tube crop top and two other minions behind her.

"Who the f**k parked there car in my spot."

One of the girls just pointed in my direction and who ever barbie was she decided to call me out.

"Hey you!"

I turned to look at her.

"Oh you must be new" she sighed

" yes I'm why."

"This is my spot so if you can get your f*****g car out of my space you will be a darling."

"Firstly no need to be rude and secondly who gave you the right to tell me we're I can and can't park."

From what I could tell everyone stop what they were doing to look at us.

"Do you know who you're talking to. I'll make your life a living hell."

I could tell she just wanted attention from everyone and establish dominance. So I decided to be the bigger person and walk away. Till she grabbed my hair. Mistake I thought to myself. I was a master in mixed martial arts.

"Let go of my hair." I told her in a polite manner.

"Oh what"

"You asked for it ."

I didn't want to cause much trouble or damage on my first day of school so I practically decided to slap her and simply walk away. I was losing control of myself, my eyes were turning red veins popping out of my head.

"Where is the toilets."

"Straight ahead make a turn to your left."

"thanks."

I walked quickly to it. Not wanting my secret to be out the first day. I needed my pills to relax.

Flash back

10years ago back in the abyss some girl pissed me of I couldn't hold back the demon in me and we'll I snapped to a point I couldn't control my demon. By then it was still young and reckless didn't care about anything just to show it's dominance and it's will. I beat the crap out of her. She was a full flagged demon but to me it was as if she was a mere cub worthless. I hit her with all I had. I think I broke her nose,her rib cage and almost paralyzed her till someone injected me with some medicine and from that day I have been taking them to help keep me in check it's like it was my a netraulize to put down my demon.After wards when I went back to my normal senses I felt bad and cried in my mum's arms she held me tight and I felt at peace.

Back in present time

I had to take them on time before while Cassandra went hunting. Or Cassandra was my demon name. I quickly got into the bathrooms and emptied my bag searching for the pills. When I got them I took about four of them and I started to relax. Did I mention I was half demon. Pretty cool but I had a target on my head. I wasn't really told why so I never even asked. It was almost time for class and I quickly rushed to the sectary to give me my lesson plan and schedule for the next year.

My first class was about to start and it was biology,I entered the classroom and everyone was busy on the phones. Ms Collins made me introduce myself to the class which I did but I lied mostly. But only told the truth about my parents and I lived with my uncle.I was made to seat with this guy his last name was Good. I had no idea what his first name was, but he was friends with Zoey and her boyfriend. The week had gone by fast and we were having lunch on a Friday.

"What are you having next."Erin asked.

"Physical Education and you?"

"Same here." the all answered in harmony.

We had to eat fast as it was about to be time for our next class.

We went to the gym were we were told to chose a sport. I chose tracks. Not that I wasn't good at any other spot bolut well I was tired of them.

"What sport do you play?"Zoe asked me in the girls locker room.

"Practically every sport my mum taught me to be the best I can be. Which makes me pretty competitive. But I think I will do running for now."

"Oh I love swimming ever since I was a kid."

"That's really nice."

On the flied I found Martin Good. You gotta be kidding. I couldn't resist him. His aroma drove me crazy. I have never felt this way. I guess that's how my mum felt about my dad.

"Annabella for you to make the team you have to beat the best we have." Coach said to me.

"Mr Good. Step forth."

He had to be the best. Was he just athletic or what.

"Dark you can run?"

I knew he was just being his sarcastic.

"Yeah.I bet I can kick your butt."

"Wanna bet on it."

"Sure." I knew I could beat him in about 30mintues or even less. Short story I let him win so he could take me out on a date. That's when it happened. He kissed me.
