I Transported to Another World where I became the Ruler of an Advance Dark Civilization in a Fantasy Continent.

Town of Old Trees

After a long travel, George and Martha finally arrived at the Town of Old Trees. George was amazed by the structures of the town. It is a big and old town. George ask Martha,

"Why it was called the town of Old Trees?" George asked,

"According from what I know, they said that this town was surrounded by very Old Trees probably Ancient trees who live 2000 years ago." Martha said,

"Wait, so the trees earlier are very old?" George asked,

"Yeah, you didn't notice?" Martha said.

For George, It doesn't feel like very old trees but because it is a fantasy world, most of the trees looks really young even though they already live thousand of years ago. George ask Martha again if this town is also old like the trees. Martha said that It's not. She said that the town was only build 500 years ago. The trees around the town are still more older and ancient than the town.

Then Martha ask George where in the town will George go. George said he will wonder around first and find a shelter later as a traveler. After that, George ask Martha too and She said that she will go to a magic shop who sells magic scrolls full of magic spells,

"That sounds magical." George said.

"Uh yeah, because this world has magic. You don't know about magics?" Martha ask,

"Ahh, not really, It's just that I'm not use to see or hear anything related to magics before." George response,

"Really? But most of the place in this world have magics." Martha response,

"I ahh, maybe I didn't encounter any of them before in my travel until now." George said as an alibi,

"Hmm." Martha response.

It is a weak alibi and George is now kinda suspicious to Martha. But she didn't said anything yet and said to him to take care and then she leaves. George kinda messed up that conversation but It already happened so he just move on and wondered around the town. While he was wondering around, he reach the market place of the town. George was amazed again by It's atmosphere and think that he wants buy some things but the problem is, he don't have any money and he didn't even know yet what money they use in this world to buy things.

Until a young girl accidentally bump to him, George ask,

"Are you ok?" George said.

The young girl apologize to him. George said that It was nothing, he also noticed that the young girl has sharp ears similar to the elf in every fantasy world so he assume that she must be an elf and probably older than him despite her younger look. After she apologize, she gave him a shiny coin as an apology,

"What is this? Why are you giving it to me?" George asked,

"It was part of our culture to give blessings as an apology to someone." The elf girl said.

George look at the shiny coin and it looks like something ancient was written on the coin with a symbol of a tree. George ask what is the tree about in the coin. The elf girl answered him,

"That coin has a great value, It can exchange to a human gold that can use to buy big mansions. The tree symbol symbolize the Yggdrassil tree which is the tree that connects this world to other worlds,

"hmm, so this world knows about Norse Mythology huh." George said to himself.

Until the elf girl said that she needs to go now, she apologize once again. Before she leaves, George thanked her for giving him the coin. Then the elf girl leaves, he maybe forgot to ask her name but George thinks that getting a coin from an elf with great value is enough.

He can use it to buy many things but he decided to keep it as a precious gift since he remember that the elf girl said that it was a blessing so he make the coin as a lucky charm.
