The noise she made while hitting the documents 🗒️ on the table was deafening.
"Now k am wondering 🤔, did l make a mistake by hiring you here although no one needs to answer the question ❓.You are so lucky ☘️ that no one else is here in the office or else l would have punished you" l said.
"But sir,the documents were heavy" she replied.
"Oh pls, how can those few documents 📃 be heavy🏋️. l don't have your time 🕰️⏳ right now, the clients would soon be here. l will think 🤔 if your punishment later"And immediately l said that, my clients cane in and the meeting 🤝 began. Miss Gales stood while the meeting was going on and l wanted it to be like that because this would be her punishment because on a normal basis, my PA will stay on my left ⬅️ handing me the documents 📃 l need while my vice CEO would be at my right 👉 sude giving me advice in the meeting 🤝 and l was purposely postponing the meeting so that she would have to stand longer but then later after about two hours 🕖, l saw that her legs were niw shaking so much so l helped her by finishing tye meeting quickly.
"Ok, that's all for today's meeting 🤝, thanks 👍 for coming and see you next time but never and l mean never in this life and the next will you come at the time we dud not plan upon because next time, the deal will be 📴" l said and they looked scared 😨 before finally leaving and immediately they left, she collapsed on the nearby chair 💺 like her life 🧬 depended on it while massaging her legs 🦵.
"Did l ask you to sit 🪑 down 👇 yet?" l asked.
"l am really sorry 😔 sir but my legs 🦵 are really hurting right now" she said.
"And do l look 👁️👁️ like someone who cares" l replied.
"Come in cuz, she did not 🚫 do anything and nit ti mention the fact that you made her stand through out the meeting" l inwardly hissed, forgot that Anthony is still here.
"It doesn't matter anyways, Miss Gales follow me to the office" l said standing up.
"So she is still going to walk all the way to your office" he asked.
"Were you expecting me to carry 🧺 her there?" Why did k even ask? knowing fully well that was what he wanted.
"Do l really have to answer when you know what it will be" Just like l guessed. l looked towards her.
"You can walk 🚶🏻♀️🚶🏻♀️there right 👍🏻" l asked her.
"l can manage sir" she said and l looked 👀 at Anthony.
"See, told you she was fine 👍🏻, you don't have to get all worked up, it is not 🚫 like she sprained her ankle or anything?"then Anthony looked at her.
"Are you sure you are fine 😊?" he asked.
"Yes sir but thanks 👍🏼 for your concern 😊" she replied.
How come she did not 🚫 say that when l asked her especially since l am her boss, Huh girls, am l right 👍🏼. just left the office expecting them to follow me and if they did not, they know the way back 🔙 to the office anyway.
Allison POV
l and Mr Anthony were left in the room alone.
"I better follow him to the office before he wonders where l have gone and scold me again" l said.
"Are you sure you don't need any help, l can help you to walk there you know 😐" he told me but l can not accept the offer, that would just be awkward.
"No need sir, it is just a few steps to the office, l can walk 🚶🏻♀️there in my own besides l don't want to trouble you from work" l told him.
"Ok 👌🏼 but l would walk 🚶🏻♀️ behind you just in case if anything" 😉 he said.
"Well, that's fine by me" l said and carried my horrible sore legs 🦵🦵 to the office. Every step was literally like t*****e to me and when l got to the office, l was more than glad 😊 to sit 🪑 down 👇🏼 while rubbing my legs 🦵🏼 and l left Mr Anthony and Mr Jones to talk 🦜.
Anthony POV
"Come on,how could you do that to her😕" l said to Andrew angry 😠 💢 at what he did to Allison.
"Do what? she could still walk, it's not 🚫 like she fractured her legs"he said like it was nothing.
"You should remember that you are meant to be more caring 😘😘 towards her" l reminded him 🔔.
"Ad why should l?"he foolishly asked as if he has forgotten, but knowing him, how could he have forgotten?
"She is here because of a bet so let us see 🙈 how long you can remain cold 🥶" l told him 😉.
"We both know that is never gonna happen and the last time l recalled, t you still had work to do" he said and l laughed while leaving.
"Don't forget that it is not good to be overconfident cousin 😄😄😄" l laughed and left.
