I burst through the door of the healer’s quarters, my heart pounding as I carried Sebastian’s limp body in my arms.
Torren was already there, having ran ahead of me and was now shoving a stretcher towards me. “Here, Alpha!” he shouted, his voice tight with urgency I was feeling too.
I laid Sebastian down carefully, his wolf face pale, more blood staining his fur. My chest tightened at the sight, a raw fear gripping me.
"Todd!” I yelled, my voice echoing off the stone walls. “Get over here now! Leave whatever you’re doing and get your assistant to handle it!”
