time flies (three) years later

Panda was dusting quietly while Tara was vacuuming and nonnie was washing windows in the greater livingroom it was the last room they had to clean before making dinner and going to thier room Tara scanned the room once finished as there would be a punishment should so much as a speck of dust be found and as soon as she was satisfied she gestured to the kitchen and they made thier way in. Tara told the others what to do in the kitchen as she was the cook in the house , she had tried to teach nonnie but after a huge amount of burnt food and a few beatings Tara took for it she gave up"panda grab twenty potatoes and peel them up then quarter them nonnie small bag of onions and twenty carrots peeled and chopped" as she herself went for the chuck roast salting and peppering adding a shake of this and a dash of that and set the oven to heat. To look at her you would have no idea how much she enjoyed cooking,they had learned early on if you let them know you liked something it would either be taken away from you or it would be used against you she began chopping celery then started making the Mac and cheese once it was all ready the Mac n cheese in one oven and the roast in the other they did the final kitchen clean up as the meals would be ready when the men came home Tara sent the others down making three sandwiches from last night's chicken leftovers grabbed a few apples and oranges and with a grin grabbed the half empty bottle of grape soda going to the basement stairs shutting the door on her way down

downstairs there were three doors one was thier room, one was a bathroom and lastly the punishment room markus was fond of taking them in there with whips,bats and all kinds of painful things to correct ones behavior it was only grace that they were all young that only beating occured in there Tara looked away from the room in that thought and went in the room. During the dinner Nonnie quizzed the others in geography as she had a natural talent for teaching and could learn by reading and pass it on. Right off Nonnie had been determined while they might be property they didn't have to be stupid property.as Nonnie handed out math homework to Tara and Panda she gathered thier clothing and took them in the bathroom to clean. by the time she's washed and hung the clothes in front of the heating vent ductwork to dry it faster she went in and smiled.cheching the papers she shoved them under the bed hearing boots slamming each step . Nonnie got in front of panda Tara getting in front of them both as the door flew open. Tara you need to set three more place at the table and come serve. nonnie spoke up "cloths are wet and you know we only have one outfit each" markus growled a bit and markus pointed at them 'yall are
