Chapter Fifteen“YOU'RE RIGHT,” DANNY SAID through a stuffed mouth. “These fries are incredible. What do they put on them?”
“Some special spices, not sure.” Adrian took a big bite of his own burger as his brother grabbed an extra napkin. “I can't believe you've lived here all your life and have never been to Ollie's Trolley.”
The two were sharing a rare lunch together, as their schedules usually didn't allow for the time, but the small burger diner in downtown DC was right on the way to Adrian's next appointment, and Danny had a few minutes before the start of his next shift.
“So,” Danny said as he finished another bite, “the job still going okay?”
“Pretty well. It's steady, at least. And I've made some connections that might lead to something even better.”
