Chapter Four

Our love story .

The prince started taking care of all unchenna needs alongside that of her daughter Amaka.

While Uchenna was busy cooking the prince walked in from her, closing her eyes trying to guess who it was. She slowly turned around after many attempts to undo the person's hands failed.

"Who is this … what do you want?" She ask

"Guess" the prince answered upon hearing the voice she knew instantly who it was, she smiled.

"My love … " she replied. The prince released his hold and turned her so that they were facing each other.

"Yes it's me nkeem." the prince said as uchenna asked and complained in his absence.

"Am sorry for having kept you waiting." the prince apologizes as uchenna throws her hands up dramatically as the prince hugs her.

"Let's go inside obimmu." The prince offers as he slowly disengaged, she argues that she was still cooking the prince forming a banish face.

"You didn't even offer me a seat!" The prince remarks.

"Am sorry …let me go and get you small stool inside the hut" she says instantly but was pulled her back before she could utter a word, he kissed her reciprocating to his demand as they deepen the kiss each kiss filled with passion,love and desperate hunger for each other caressing all aspect of her body she moans in response to the touch.

The atmosphere around them could be considered heated as the prince stops kissing her; feeling disappointed …uchenna runs out of the kitchen, the prince follows her seeing that she starts running around the compound as the prince chases her until they become exhausted and fall on each other.

"I'm sorry for what happened a while ago …I'm just afraid if we continue I might do something we might both come to regret!" The prince says, patting her hair while he lay on the ground.

" Why do you think we might regret it?" She asks if her curiosity is getting the better side of her.

" Nkeemmu you are always sensitive of everything." He replied, she smiles reminding him that no secret should be kept away from her since they are committed to each other.

" I never said I won't tell you nne" he says reassuring her as he peeks her forehead, one of the royal guards informing the prince about the urgent call from the palace, worried about the call.

" Did he tell you his reason?" The prince asks a guard whose expression suddenly changes.

" My prince I think it's about ….about !!!" The guard stammer, not knowing the exact word to use.

"About what?!" the prince snaps with this the guard bowns down as he states the reason behind the sudden call from the palace.

" The preparation for the crown princess." He replied with this uchenna stood up and walked out, dismissing the guard the prince goes looking for her.

Locked out, he knocks on the door but gets no reply, banging the door but still no reply. He sits on the floor… he allows his tears to drop freely.

Few minutes later Amaka walked in looking rough after playing with the neighbor children, upon seeing the prince she started a sing-sang manner.

"My dad… papa.. oh !!!" With this she jumps on him bringing him back to reality, he thought within him that was the perfect opportunity for him.

He starts playing with her afterward he pretends to have sustained injury.

"Ouch!!!... Ahhhh…!!" He shouts this and draws uchenna attention as she opens the door running towards where she had the sound from.

"What's wrong … I thought I heard noises just now?" She asks, hearing that the prince increases his pitch along with Amaka." Help me!! "He shouted along with Amaka who still doesn't know how to pronounce words efficiently. She walked over to him asking where it hurt,rather than showing where it hurt he kept pointing to the different side of his leg,slowly grabbing her hands he kissed her which she pulled away.

"I promise you nkeemmu … I'll never leave you for any woman in the world , you know I love you right?!" He says hugging her as Amaka pulls his robe.

"K… I.. s… s!" She says opening her open teeth as they burst into laughter.
