ASURA'S POV
"Why are we at a hospital?" Nadia asked me. "Because this place has the things that I want." I lead the way towards the obstetrician section. "What exactly is that thing you wanted?" She asked again while we inside the elevator.
"Pure soul." I walked out from the elevator followed by Nadia.
"Pure soul?" I hummed. "See those woman waiting for their turn? What do you think they're doing there?" I asked my servant.
"Meeting a doctor?" I chuckled. "Yes but why?" Nadia shrugged. "Abortion. Before those angel bitches get their hands on those souls, let's snatch them away."
I'm so ready for today. "Wait, Master. Your fighting with an angel for a pure soul? Why? I thought angels help them pass on." I wiggling my finger.
"Generally, yes, that's their job. But for the past hundreds of years, their job description change from bringing them to heaven directly to bringing them to the heaven's workshop where they create holy weapons such as an Excalibur."
Her reaction was priceless. "Why would they even want to abort the life they're carrying? I don't get this." Nadia seems sad for some reason.
"Those woman has no choice but to do so. They have no money, some were forced to get rid of it and some even hate to have them inside their body. Humans, they tend to be afraid of their current life rather than the afterlife. That's not how you should live your life. You need to believe in the afterlife because we exist." I watched as the first woman walked into the clinic.
"Let's wait here." We went as close as possible towards the woman who's waiting for their turn. "In a few minutes, you should be able to listen to those little voices they made when they were out from their mother forcefully." I was right on cue when I heard a little cry coming from the room.
"Walk through the wall and grab that kid will you?" Nadia nodded and did as told. I turned my attention to two winged figure walking towards us. "Seems like we were too late." Said one of the angels. "Devil scum beat us to it!" Nadia walked out through the wall with a child in her arms.
"Why do they have to kill such a beautiful creature." The angels were about to grab the child when I stood up.
"Small fry like you should go away. First come, first serve. We agreed on that. If you still want to oppose me, I don't mind eating fried angels today." I warned them.
One of them clicked its tongue in annoyance. "Devil scum, you shall pay for it." They warned us back. This has been going back and forth.
Anymore woman went inside the clinic and the angels turned their attention to her. "Leave before I roast you both into a roasted chicken." I was ready to fire my magic when I heard another cry.
I nodded my head at Nadia. "I mean it, angels. Don't test me." They beginning to back down. "Fine Devil scum. We will let you get away with this for once."
They turned their wings to me and walked away. Nadia walked out with a little child in her arms again. "What are you planning to do to them? Are you going to use them?" Use them? "I don't use Pure souls. I care for them. These souls need a place where they can grow into beautiful creatures one day."
She seems more confused. "Care for souls? You're a devil." I chuckled. "I prepared a place for them all to stay and grow. Once they're old enough, they can choose whether to join my faction or heaven. I give them a freedom right from the start." Everyone deserves a chance they don't even have in the first place.
We were waiting for another woman to enter the clinic when my eyes caught on a familiar creature walking not far from us. "Oh, he's here. Nadia, do you want to see a grim reaper up close?" I pointed at a tall man wearing all
black that seems to be holding a ... sword?
Wait, why does a grim reaper carrying a sword?
I followed in its footsteps and entered a room it went into. "It just stood there, waiting." She said. "Of course. A grim reapers job is to take care of the deceased and determine if he or she should be going to heaven or hell. From the looks of things, that human is going to heaven."
I can smell those pesky angels. Seems like I'm meeting a lot of them today. "Why hello there devil scum. Are you here for the Pure soul?" Ugh, this is not a normal angel. The aura she gave me is too divine. "Why would a high ranking angel be doing a rookie's job?" The angel smile.
"I was sent here by God itself. This person is special. Too special." Nadia and I watched as the angel doing its job. The Angel thanked the grim reaper and lead the soul of the deceased into the light. "She's a little bit nicer than the other." I chuckled.
"It's all just a facade. Her real nature is obliteration. She's God's destruction. I should know, we fought each other hundreds of years ago." Why would the high ranking angel care to drag a soul back to heaven? Something fishy here.
"Lady Asura." The grim reaper bow it's head to me. "I'm going to my next deceased human now." I nodded and let it go. "Anyway, why are you carrying a sword rather than a scythe?" I asked.
"My scythe was broken when I had an encounter with some angels. I sent them to the repair shop." He seems to have it rough.
I followed in its footsteps and asked Nadia to witness this thoroughly. "Now this soul will go to hell. He was a school teacher before this."
The grim reaper about to lifted its sword. "Oh this going to be fun. If a soul's place is hell, the grim reaper will s***h the decease's body with its sword. That way the devils will know there's a soul to collect. They really hate to run into angels while doing this."
"Why does a school teacher earned himself to hell?" Nadia asked. "I almost forgot that you can't see into his life yet. Well, he's a pedophile. He took pictures of teenage girls and boys in the toilet and even doing it still in such an old age. If that's the case when he's human, there's no other place for him than hell. More weird souls in hell for us." I chuckled.
But I personally despise these kinds of soul.
"There's no other punishment than eternal burning." A devil appeared from a circle and bow to us. He proceeds to do his job and disappear within the circle with the soul he collected.
"Now that you witness some of the jobs by a devil and angel, what do you think?" Nadia seems like she's looking for the perfect word to describe it.
"Hmm. I'm not sure but I am sure that there's a lot more than I need to know about the afterlife." She's wise. I'm glad she didn't chicken out on me and I think she's ready for this other job I have in mine.

"What are we doing in front of a church?" She asked as soon as she walked out from the circle. "As much as I want to avoid taking request from the leader of the Angels, this matter consists of the world balance. I was told that a fallen angel has been acting like the holy one in this church. She's been giving false hope and promises to these humans. See for yourself."
Nadia did and she was surprised. "That is not something they should be doing inside a church!" Nadia was bewildered with the fact these human having s*x in the house of God.
"See what I mean. They have no sense of direction because of the false belief they were given. They rely on miracles than working for it." I pointed at the pregnant woman who's about to have a baby. No one even cares to help her. "And we're here to...?" Nadia asked.
"Find the fallen angel and end this. After we end it, the real angels will take over and fix the balance. All we have to do is get our hands dirty with fallen angel's blood. Interesting isn't it." I chuckled. I've been wanting to kill more fallen angels now.
"I know you told me about the fallen angel's goal before but, why did God banish them from heaven." Good question. "Depend it's either they were causing some imbalance toward the heaven and hell or they're found guilty of treason. Some angels tend to be heretic as well. They spread the word of god and expect the humans to worship a god without any purpose."
As much as I hate the heaven faction, it's wrong to worship something without righteousness.
"Let's just say we respect one another," I explained. I heard a distant flapped of wings coming our way. "It's coming. Let's get inside even further." I lead her inside. "Why are we allowed inside a church? Isn't this considered as a holy land?"
"Hmmm. How do I explain this.. well, it is considered as a holy land but, the overseer can make an exception for us. They often asked for our help but not always. Some rookie angels were hard to control. Like the ones, we met earlier? The one who collects those pure souls, they're rookies."
"Oh, Great Hiel!" Here it comes. I pushed Nadia's body even further in. Hiel? Now that I learned her name, it's easier this way.
I placed a finger on my lips for Nadia to see. "For now, all you do is support me. Okay?" Nadia nodded. I showed myself in front of the fallen angel above me.
"Oh .. a stray devil? What is art thou doing here?" Stray... I am not a stray. Clearly, she doesn't know her facts right. She must be new.
"I am not a stray devil. I'm here to end you. As much as I hate working with the heaven factions, I just have to bring back the balance to both worlds and the human world."
She suddenly laughing at me.
"What are you babbling about, demon? There's no way you have the power to stop me, a divine angel." Huh? Doesn't she realised how pitch black her wings are?
"Hiel, was it? Aren't you aware of your own wings turning as dark as your teaching towards these pathetic humans?" I asked the fallen angels. Her face turned grim. "I am an angel! You have no rights to talk about my divine wings!" Divine?! Divine my ass.
"Divine? Look at yourself in the mirrors! Your far from divine! You're hideous!" She finally landed on her feet and look at herself on the mirrors. "No .... my wings! My beautiful wings! NO!" She's in denial. "Now that you know who you are, let's end this." I showed her my palm as she squirmed on the floor, trying to get away from me.
She did try to hit me with her so call light spears but her aim is awful like her soul.
"Fire whirlwind." I smiled when the fire started to spiral on my hand. "Heil, you've been cast as a fallen angel and you shall never be reborn again for your sins against heaven and hell. Your punishment, complete annihilation." The Fallen angel screamed as the fire consume her body and soul.
"Now, this is what I like to call Fire whirlwind. See how the fireworks like wind? It's one of my many deadly magic against my enemy." I explained to Nadia when she stood by my side. "What will happen to her if she can't go to heaven nor hell?" Good question.
Seems like my servant is really paying attention to today's lesson. "We have a place called the dimensional gap. That's where lost soul and legendary beast's stays. Some beast wanted nothing but peace and quiet. If she decides to make a scene, those beasts will kill her over and over again until she submits to them."
"What now?"
"Now we go home before those pesky angels come. I really don't want to face them." I opened the circle and we both leave the rest for the angels to deal with.

"Wow." Nadia swallowed hard the lumps inside her throat when a half-naked succubus walked passed us. He looked away when an incubus started to make eye contact.
"Just no. I really don't want to see guys junk." I motioned for the incubus to stayed away from us. I called for group for the succubus near us.
"Girls, make my servant feel a little happy, okay? Where's Lilith?" One of the succubi pointed at the upper room. I leave Nadia alone with them as I made my way towards the room where Lilith's at. I wonder if she found the thing I asked her to find.
I didn't bother to knock as I turned the knob. To my surprise, she's not with any man or woman she desires and took their life essence like always.
"This is something I never dream of seeing. You actually doing some work for the club." Lilith looked up at me. "Hey, boss. I can sense you were near but I never thought your this year."
I took a seat in front of their desk. "Now, let's get straight to business. Did you found it?" She smiled. "Of course my lady. Who do you think I am? Although it was hard for you, I conquer it all." She chuckled after saying such cliche words.
"Anyway, where is it?" She groaned as she placed an average size box of vampire hunting kit in front of me. She opened the box for me to see.
"We have Holy water, powdered garlic. Serum for when those bitches bit you but I doubt they will survive after consuming your blood my lady." She chuckled.
She's right, my blood is like a venom for them. "Crucifix, wooden stack, holy bible of course. This is a blessed dagger. The priest assures me that it works. He blessed it himself." A priest?
"Lilith did you ... Oh Lilith. Don't make a priest astray from his belief! If every priest in this world vanishes, how will we find the tools to destroy those bloodsuckers." Lilith apologized.
"This is a gun?" Lilith nodded. "The bullet is made from a blessed steel." Nice. This is one magnificent hunter's kit.
"Can you let one of your girls to lead my servant up here. I need to brief her next mission right now." Lilith nodded and whistled for her girls.
Minutes later Nadia came to see me and Lilith. "Master." The succubus waved at her goodbye. "You're popular." When I turned to Lilith her eyes turning yellow.
"Why are you in heat?" I asked. "Her scent. It's ... mesmerizing. My instinct wanted to devour her whole." When I turned my attention to the succubus downstairs, their eyes were all yellow as well. "Hmm. You're really popular." Nadia blushed.
"Anyway, focus, please. I have your next mission right here." Nadia turned her attention to the vampire hunting kit.
"There's a group of vampires terrorizing the humans at the alleys. Yes, they're all homeless people but, with so much killing in my territory, I need to get rid of them all. Since your not capable of using any magic yet, you'll have to use this kit."
I showed her the box.
"Since your a devil, holy water, rosary, crucifix and the holy bible is not your forte. But, you do have the wooden stack, powdered garlic, dagger and this gun. Make sure not to touch the bullet and the blade of the dagger though, it's blessed." She seems reluctant.
"What is it, servant?" She faces me.
"Can I even do this? I did go through the training with Lord Israfel's wives but, I was badly injured because of the venom." Oh, that.
"Somehow, I think your body can withstand those venom for quite some time. If you feel lightheaded after they bit you, use this serum on yourself. It will help."
"And here I thought modern world has no vampires lurking in the dark anymore." I chuckled. "They're servants. Elite vampires usually stayed inside their villa and only goes out at night even though they have the exception to be out in the sun. They don't glow like some weak vampires we know but the elites have resistance against the sun."
I looked at the time. "We still have time. Follow me. Lilith, open the dungeon gate." Lilith did as told and we all went to the dungeon.
I haven't even stepped inside the dungeon when I heard a loud hiss. "What the hell is that?!" Both Lilith and Nadia covered their ears. "Vampires. A real-life one but this one, she's submissive towards Lilith."Nadia took a step back when that vampire came to view.
"Beautiful isn't she?" Lilith said while pushing Nadia forward. "Why do you keep her inside this cage?" She asked. "Well, she tends to be naughty behind my back. She's a good girl now, right?" The vampire nodded.
Lilith opened the cage door and let us in. What is about her that makes every female creature wanted her?
I am curious myself.
"Now, pay attention. I'm going to show you which part of her is fatal. One, her head. If you came across one without the kit, the most effective way would be decapitated its head and burn them. Remember, this method can be used against witches as well. But that's a whole lot of twisted story."
Nadia nodded.
"Second, her heart. Destroy it once you yanked it out from its cavity. Everyone die without a heart. Except for zombie, and again that's a whole lot of different story. We'll get there soon." Nadia turned to the vampire.
"Stab the heart with a wooden stack or bamboo. I preferred bamboo for more impact. That's how you deal with Japanese vampires, they hate bamboo. I came across a priestess who told me that when I was on my journey, trying to find my true self."
"For real?" Lilith asked. "For real. Last but not least, the sun it's their worst enemy. Even the elites have some trouble dealing with sunlight. At night they hate bright light. Especially fire. If you catch my drift burn them to death. Dance around in a circle, be happy for yourself because you get to kill one."
Nadia was confused. "I was joking. Don't dance around. You're representing the house of Demonix. Anyway, do you get what I'm trying to teach you here?" Nadia nodded. "The best way to kill a vampire." She actually paying attention!
"Good. Are you ready to kill your first vampire now?" I asked.
"I do." She sounds confident.
Good. I hope it ends well.
