The First

Chapter 1

"O--Owh!, you heard that i'm praying?! 

Well, it's because i'm so hungry and broke, People accusing me a thief.

 I'm not like that kind of girl, i offer people to clean their feet so that they can give me money to buy food and survive". She murmured.

"Where's your family? W-Why are you alone?" Jess asked, with his one eyebrow raised and wondering.

"Ts-s!" A bit of smiled comes from Claire. " I don't have a family, i raised by my father's friend but.-" She Stopped talking, "Sorry!, i don't know if i should continue my story with you" 

"I don't even know you, You're just a stranger came here and whispered, then asked me. Just Go!"

Jess laughed loud. Claire raised her eyebrows.

"O--oops! Sorry for that!, you're right. Ha-ha! why this girl share her story with a stranger like me?, Anyway, don't worry. my story is near with yours. I don't have my family. They died in the middle of a war, my mother, She made her a s*x slave, my father, i don't know him. Maybe one of the invader who mate with my mom."

"Owh-," deep sigh came from her. "Same as my mother, But my father fought for us and that's the reason why he's been killed. Invaders cut his throat.," 

"URGH! Stop!" Jess cut her story.

"That's discusting, i don't want to hear something like that." with his face looks like disgusted. 

"Ha-ha-ha-ha!' loud laughed came from the both of them.

"Now you're a little bit happy, Anyway, may i know who's this beautiful girl laughing with me?"

"O-OH!, i am Claire, and you are Jess right? as you said your name when i nearly beats you with a peace of wood, Ha-ha!" She keeps a bit of laughing. 

"Right! Ha-ha, well, did you forgot that you're hungry?"

"Oh- Y-yeah!, anyway i felt it again." 

"Okay! Wait for me here! I'll get you some food to eat!"

"W-wu-wait!"

Jess runs fast with a smile in his face. Never knew where he gets the food, maybe he is a thief or something, but i don't want to judge him like the people judges me. I'll just keep thinking that what i'm gonna do with my life.

I heard a footsteps running towards my direction. Hell Yeah! It's Jess, running with a basket on his hand.

"I'm Here!" Gasping voice came from him while he smiled at me.

"Whe-Where did you get-? Where did you get that?" i was just wondering.

"Ha-ha!, Don't worry it's clean! Let's eat together aye?" he replied with the happiness that can sees in his face.

"No! If you didn't tell me where it came from, i won't eat that." Bu-u--r-l-ck'' sounds that came in my tummy. I blushed and put my hands on my tummy.

"Ha-ha! ,You're hungry! Please eat first and i will explain to you everything, Don't worry it's clean and absolutely didn't came from any illegal acts." He smiled at me. 

I sensed that he's telling the truth and he's a good boy. So, 

" Okay!, Actually i'm so blessed to have this food in front of me, waiting for me to eat them, Ha-ha!, But you promise me that this food didn't came from an illegal acts?"

"One hundred and one percent Legal!" He replied with raising his right hand as a sign of promise.

"All right! Let's eat!".......

WHEN THEY FINISHED EATING

"Thank you so much Jess, i mean, i never imagined that i will have some friend here. O-Oh i-i, i'm sorry if i called you my friend, i just considered you as.-"

"Shh! Ofcourse! we're friends from now on!". he replied

I was blushed and thank God on my mind. Jess is so kind.

"So, can you tell me now where the food came from?"

"Oh-woh! yeah! I nearly forgot!"

"Well, it came from where i work."

"Work?, What work?"

"Well, believe it or not, at my young age i was a harvester on my cousin's (from mother's lineage) farm not so far away from here."

"Oh really?" i admired the fact the he told me that at his young age he works just for him to survive. I just think i can do it also.

"U-uhm... Can you ask your cousin if i can work in his or her farm too? W-wait is she or he?"

"His name is Richy, Well, only his name is Rich. but we're poor and if we won't work to our farm, we don't have a food on our plate, But don't worry i will tell him or maybe you better come with me and i introduce you to him?"

"Thank you so much!" i replied to him and come with him.

As we arrived on Jess's cousin's house, we heard a loud voices, shouting and angry. Jess told me to hide.

"YOU FREAKY BULLSH*T! I WANT YOU TO GET OUT OF MY TERRITORY! GO AND GET YOUR GRAINS AND PLANTS AND BRING THEM WITH YOU!!!"

Jess told me that the one who shouted on his cousin is Damian. He's rich, very famous and very bad person. He mocked all the poor people. He owns a lot which Richy uses to plant grains and vegetables. Damian wants him to get out of his lot because he will build a*****e of guns here. Richy is begging to give him time to prepare so that the vegetables and grains that he planted grew up and harvest them so that they have a budget to start a new life in other town. 

But Damian has no mercy. He's Selfishness made him hate by the people on his town.
