The First

Chapter 4

"Stop!" He yelled at his guard.

"What are you doing here beggar?" Damian asked him.

"Sir, I am here for a trade." He replied

"A trade?! what trade?! i have everything, what trade should i accept coming from a beggar like you Richy?".

"Please let us stay for 5 more years, you can get the 50% of my crops and trade it to golds, in this case you can earn golds from us. Just 5 more years!".

"Ha-Ha-Ha!, you son of a b*tch! i will accept your offer if i will have 90% of your crops!"

"That's too much Damian! How can we eat? how can we buy our needs?"

"That's my condition, if you don't like it. Then get out of my lot soon or i will kill you and your cousin!".

"Alright! Alright!, Just let us stay for 5 years aye?".

"O-oops! Did you mean 5?, i don't agree with that. you can only stay for 3 years. and that's too much i think?"

I think of Claire, and i think 10% of our crop will be enough for our food. Just for our food. and nothing else.

"Okay! Deal!, Please seal our deal. I'll stay for 3 years! you'll get 90% of our crops!."

"Very good decision i***t! Now go back to your house! I don't want to see your face here in my house, you're a dirty jerk!"

CLAIRE

Knock!-Knock!

I heard that someone is knocking the door. It's Richy, and he looks happy.

"Oh, How are you? you look so happy, what happened?" i asked him

"We're safe for now, i have a deal with Damian so we can stay here for 3 more years, i think that's enough." 

"What's the deal? what did you offered that made that evil change his mind?". Jess asked him

"Nothing but, he'll get the 90% of our harvest and change it to golds and leaves us the 10% for our needs, in that case we can stay here atleast 3 more years." He replied

"Wh-whuat?! That evil creature is so selfish! he's greedy! hope he can bring his golds with him in death!". Jess angrily replied

"I-i-am sorry, it's all my fault, If i didn't came here into your life, you'll just leave and can start your new life in San Diego." 

"No! Don't blame yourself, as i told you. You are a blessing for us. Richy Replied

Once again, i felt like, how important i am? these people offered their source of income to stay here with me. at this moment, i told myself how lucky i am to be with them, i started to be like Richy and Jess, i raised my faith in God, i pray everytime, everything i am doing i am raising it to Him. in exchange of their kindess in me, i did all the household job. i clean the house everyday, wash their clothes, cook their food even if they don't want me to do that, i still want to. 

This is my way to thank them.

As months pass by, grains and vegetables starting to grow, and take note no one is destroying them, because if they did, their profit will be low. 

After i finished my household works, i walk and try to see what Richy and Jess doing in the farm.

I saw their hardworks, A big farm a lot of grains, vegetables and some of chickens and pigs.

I was amazed, It was like i am looking at the plants of golds, Grains is that i'm talking about, a huge lot full of golden brown grains in front of me, and when i look at the other side a green leafy vegetables. While i am on this day dreaming like, i felt something bitten my toe. I was surprised and it made me jumped of fear. I shouted like,

"Aaaww! What the?!'' 

Richy and Jess runs towards me, i fell out in the mud. My clothes are dirty, and i was a little bit shocked.

"W-what's that?"

They laugh and said, " It's okay it's just a native boer pig, let me see if you have wound" Jess said.

"No, There's no wound on it, i just shouted and jumped because i was surprised. But don't worry i'm okay".

"Ha-ha Yeah! Maybe the boer thinks that your toe is a fruit, its so smooth. Ha-ha". Richy's joke.

"Anyway, What are you doing here?" 

"Oh, i'll just finished what i'm doing ,so i decided to walk around and check if you guys are hungry. Oh! Wait! i'll bring you some food!".

I ran fast to our house to change my clothes and packed a food for them.

"Hope you guys like what i cooked!" 

"All of your dish is delicious, i wonder how you learned it". Richy asked 

"Ha-ha i just saw it from the people in this town, when they cooking their dish i am watching them and trying to figured out how to cook, and ofcourse what is the taste of it.

 I smelled it so good, and now that i have a chance to try it, i cooked it and remember what it smells like. and ta daaaa! i don't know what's the taste of it, but i am sure that's the smell of it."

Before i finish murmuring and explaining i saw that the food is empty. Yeah! They ate it while im explaining. 

"It's so delicious Claire! Buurp!, Ha-ha-ha". 

We all laughed at the same time, this happy moments that i can never imagined that will happen again. And as part of my habit, i pray and thank God again for this happy family.
