Chapter 7

A year passed, Claire and Jess grows their friendship deeper and deeper, They've been together through bad times and good times. 

"Hey Jess! Can you get the native chicken in our backyard, the one who has broken wing? We're going to cook "Tinola" (Filipino dish).

"Okay Rich! I can't wait to taste our favorite dish again!"

"Wait! I'll come! I'll help you prepare the chicken Jess." 

"All right! Let's go Claire!"

Richy

I'm glad to see them both together, i can't wait to start a new life with them in San Diego.

Hope that everything will be fine. A better life is waiting for us, No! Probably the best!

No Evil Damian! A Good harvest plus a happy family. I can't stop thinking what will happens next! I can't wait to see Jess and Claire have their own family. Hays! what a day dreaming is this! i must hurry up and prepare the vegetable for our dish! 

"Hey Claire! be careful there Claire, Don't step on the mud and you might slip. Wait! Let me hold your hand." 

After he held my hands, I looked into his eyes as if speaking, I just noticed Jess's beautiful eyes. it was brown, he was staring at me as if his cheeks were blushing.He smiled at me and said let me take care of you my little princess. I was surprised by what he said and I was a little stunned. I tried to divert my eyes and focus our conversation on the chicken.

"A-ah Jess! That's the chicken! come and let's catch it so we can deliver it to Richy."

"Oh- Ye-Yeah! The chicken! Come on Claire! Please be careful where you step or you might be slip!"

"Oh! you little chicken! You made it difficult for us to catch you! Now, Sorry but we have to cook you Hahaha!"

I saw a very good man in Jess in the future, i knew that he will be a good husband to his wife,

His a hardworking person, and he has love for others and being cheerful, generous, careful. Characteristics of a good person. And he's tall and handsome too. His deadly smiles and poisonous stares, it makes me melt. "No! What's this?!" at the back of my mind. Do i have a crush on Jess? I kept asking myself. "No! I't can't be! It embarrasses them when they find out. It belongs only to myself and remains a secret.

Years passed and 3 years came. Richy and Damian's deal is over. It looks like a lot has changed in our looks so it looks like people in San Diego will no longer recognize me.

DAMIAN

"So Richy! The deal is now over! and besides, I'm getting tired of getting your product and selling it. it is time for me to reclaim my land and use it for other things. So tomorrow morning you will leave here! carry all your belongings and do not leave anything in here. tomorrow I will return and if your still here, I will burn your property. do you understand Richy?

"Y-yes Damian! understand, but can you give us at least one more day to haul our belongings?."

"No! And three years is too long Richy! That's enough to prepare for your departure from this place. Go ahead! I do not want to see your faces useless!"

"That's too much Damian!!!". Jess shouted and threatened to punch Damian.

"Enough!". Richy shouted.

It's the first time that i saw Richy shouted like that.

"Let's pack our things,Claire please hekp us pack our things, tomorrow morning we will leave this place and move. we will begin our new life, and move away from this demonic damian."

"What did you say?! You are indebted Richy! I gave you what you wanted, three years! yes! I waited three years Richy! Get out! you idiots!." Damian replied Angrily.

"Stop it please?! Please forgive us for what they said, let us go and you can hope that we will leave as soon as possible".

"All right. Even better! Let's go boys!. Damian leaves with his guards.

"Devil Damian! all the evil he does to others will also come back to him. I'm sorry Claire if Richy and I couldn't stop ourselves from getting angry with that Devil Damian."

"I understood Jess, Who wouldn't be angry with that Damian's behavior, Even if any saint would curse his behavior. I better prepare you something to eat first before we prepare for our departure."

"Yeah! even better Claire, I'm hungry too. Thank you very much Claire and you came into our lives. thanks a lot."

"I should thank you, if it were not for the two of you I would probably be dead, you would have fed me and took care of me. I am so thankful to God that Jess saw me. I was given a new life."

"All right! Let's stop this drama hahaha!".

After preparing our belongings, we're now ready to leave this place. We're ready for the new life's waiting for us. "Hope that people of San Diego would not recognize me. I'm nervous about what was going to happen. What if they recognize me? What will happen?! U--urgh!."

"What are you thinking Claire?"

"O-oh nothing! It's just, ah- i don't know what im feeling right now, I'm glad that we're free from that Damian, but i felt so nervous as well. What if people of San Diego recognize me? Will they kill me? Will they burn me?."

"Claire, Richy and I won't let anyone touches. We won't allow that to happen, So cheer up we're always here for you no matter what happen. I will protect you.... my Princess.".

I looked at Jess and felt that i am safe in his arms. but then gain he called me his princess, does he like me? I can't look him straight, i'm blushing.
