-10 years later-

I wake up screaming after having another nightmare, it's bin 10 years and they still plague me every night. looking at my phone I see it's 6 am, no point in going back to sleep today me and my adoptive sister America are moving out of our dads house. America has bin my saving grace we ment in foster care I was 6 she was 5, she was this tinny little thing with jet black hair and the perfect nose and I knew right away I needed to protect her from anything or anyone. when Jim adopted me at 12 she would come over every night untill one night when she never showed up. I knew something was wrong so we went to find her. we found our foster father hitting her and trying to take her clothes off, the alcohol coming from him made me gag. but Jim saved her and then he adopted her.

Jim is an amazing man, he had a son named Carter he is 5 years older then us but treats us like we are his biological sisters. then there is Catherine Jim's wife the sweetest woman you could ever meet, unfortnally she passed away when I was 16 from cancer.

my parents died in a car crash when I was 5 and I didn't have any other family, so I was thrown into the system.

I decided to get on with my day, after showering and getting dressed I packed the last of my belongings ready to start a new chapter of my life. I am 28 but still live at home. life hasn't bin easy but I have managed, I graduated university this year with a major in computer science, I am damn good at what I can do with a computer. I look at my self in the mirror I have long blonde hair with blue and purple streaks threw it, I have on some light makeup and my skinny ripped jeans pared with a black tank top and my leather jacket. people say I am gorgeous but I don't see what they see I am not bad to look at but not gorgeous.

I decide to head down stairs for breakfast where I can hear my family talking. the first person I see is mer with her short black pixi cut, she is so beautiful with long legs and a tones body. then I seen my dad he is getting older with graying hair but he is fit for his age and makes it look good. then there is Carter our brother he is what every girl dreams of tall dark and handsome he has crystal blue eyes that see right threw you. his smile can melt the panties off any girl, well other then me and mer.

" good morning hunny how did you sleep?"

"alright I guess"

this food smalls so good.

" are you all packed?"

" yeah I have to pick up the keys in an hour then we can start moving in"

" I am going to miss you two around here"

" we will miss you to dad but we are not going far juat across town"

we continue to eat and chat about our new place then it's time to go.
