The ship’s bell sounded the beginning of the afternoon watch. Thor stood on the quarterdeck and watched as the crew assembled to elect a new captain. Thor knew he had been in good standing with them before their attack on the Spanish ship the day before. However, he had found it hard to read their reaction to his leniency toward Captain Albarado and his crew in light of the death of Wyvern at the hands of one of the Spanish captain’s men. Would they vote to make Thor the new leader of the pirate ship?
