From the age of 18 to 28, Khadijat attended three different diploma programmes, determined to improve herself and build a better future.

Motherhood brought a new chapter into Khadijat’s life. She became more prayerful and hopeful, always asking Allah to guide and protect her and her child.

HER FIRST FAST

Khadijat began fasting for the first time later in life. Although Ramadan required a full period of fasting, she was unable to complete all the days during her first attempt because of personal circumstances and other challenges.

Even so, she continued to pray, praise Allah, and seek forgiveness.

Her prayers were simple but heartfelt.

She asked Allah for good health, favour, protection, peace, and glory for herself and her beloved child, Oladunni. She placed her hopes in Allah and continued to believe that her prayers would be answered.

As the days of Ramadan passed, Khadijat remained hopeful, waiting for greater blessings and favour from Allah.

EID ARRIVES

Finally, the long-awaited Eid celebration arrived.

The atmosphere was filled with happiness. Families gathered together, children smiled with excitement, and everyone prepared to celebrate the end of the fasting period.

Khadijat dressed beautifully and took her child, Oladunni, to the Eid prayer. Standing among other Muslims, she felt grateful for the opportunity to witness another Eid.
