Damn GG and his obsessive nature to see me mated and held down with pups!! I’m 23 years old now. I can do these things on my own. But truth be told I am kind of looking forward to tonight’s festivities. It has been a long time since I had some fun. I mean I did have a lot in South America. The parties and night life were insane. I do not know why I’m acting like some prude when I’m really the life of the party. I do not know if its being back home that I feel as if I need to walk on eggshells because do not want to disappoint the pack. I want them to them to respect me as they did my father and mother. I want their love as well. Without love then what is a pack? A freaking party also gives me the chance to wear some of my more elaborate outfits I picked up in my travels. First will be the Alpha ceremony followed by the coming out party. The Alpha ceremony will just be pack members only. I wanted something just for us to do so that we can bond and get closer. I picked out my traditional samurai garment I picked up in Japan. My Senpai gave it to me when I left. He said it was only to be worn on special occasions or in need of war. The top robe is all gold with a black belt. The cuffs are black. Instead of a dragon on the front. I had a black wolf printed coming from my chest to my feet. For the party I decided to drop jaws and take names with my outfit. If my mate were out there tonight, I would be way he could ignore me with my custom dress. I picked up a see-through gold dress that deliciously hugs my curves. The front neckline deeps so low you could possibly see what I ate for dinner and golden panties to accent it. Paired with my clear Louboutin heels. If I’m 6’0 without heels my mate has to be taller than a glass of water to get bon this ride. I will not wear a bra because I don’t need to. GG will literally flip his top and it serves him right for what I must do especially on my first night back. I hop in shower so that I can get my makeup and hair done by the gammas. As soon as I step out there was knock at the door.

“come in” I said while drying off. Nat walks in. She has on her Beta ceremony garment. It was her fathers, so it had top be tailored to fit her. Black shirt and pants that is she had tailored to a skirt with matching fanny pack. What was ever was in the fanny pack was probably needed for the ceremony. She paired it with a pair of flats. Why dress up when we will end up naked at the end ay way. “What’s taking so long’? she said as she jumped on my couch.

“well, I had to unpack most of my luggage and have the gammas bring up boxes that I had shipped here previously”. I stated. Each place I went I shipped clothes back so that I would not carry them from place to place. After a few countries and small villages, I collected over a whole storage building full of clothes and other Knick knacks. “Also, this was sprung on me a few hours ago so don’t go there chick”.

“I’m just ready for this party tonight that’s all. Once the ceremony is over then the men will be pouring in. and I’m ready to mingle and kiss a few frogs to find my prince.”. She stated with a pout. I just laughed out loud and then we were both laughing. “okay okay. Help me get dressed then I will tell them gammas to come for the actual party so we can look our best”. I mind link them to have them get ready for the ceremony themselves since it’s a pack ceremony and not just for me. I want everyone to be a part of the process.

Its 5:00 pm and we head down to the ceremony space. I watch as caterers and party planners go in and out of a huge tent erected in the back of the pack house. They turn part of the pool into a dance floor from what I was able to see from my bedroom window. I turn to face GG as he holds up his hand signaling me and Nat to walk inside the gym. Everyone was here. From the Deltas Gammas children and older women and men. Also Matteo was seated upfront. As he is my assistant and good friend to me he deserved a place in the front row. Seated on stage was Natalie’s father Beta Fitzgerald, Delta Chase and his mate Sara. I was seated in the crowd next between Nat. and Matteo. “Today we will introduce my granddaughter Jasmine Marie Brooks as Alpha”. The crowd starts to cheer and whistle loudly. My GG smiles and raises his hand to quiet the crowd again. “This ceremony should have happened 5 years ago but as we all know tragedy happened and we lost our Great Alpha and Luna.” He says somberly “Jasmine will you and Natalie come up here please.” He asked. We made our way to the stage taking the stairs one a time. “Natalie please step forward and you too Beta Fitzgerald.” He waved his hand. They step forward and Natalie reaches down in her fanny pack and pulls out a blade. I inwardly smile. “Beta Fitzgerald you have served this pack for the last 23 years and we thank you for your service. I’m honored to say that your daughter Natalie has proven to be a great Beta probably even better than you.” He snickers and the crowd laughs “Beta please hold out your right hand. Natalie you do the same.” GG takes the blade from Natalie and slices Beta Fitzgerald palm and then Natalie’s. “hold your hand above this chalice and drop your blood inside”. He instructed They do so then as so as it was done their palms close up. “With this cup we have passed the torch from beta to beta from father to daughter. The position of the beta is a serious position and not to be taken lightly”. He turns to Natalie “Do you promise to follow the rules of the pack. To protect the Alpha and future alpha legacy from harm and danger. Do you promise to put the pack ahead of all selfish desires?”. He said. “I Natalie Fitzgerald promise all of the above”. She replied GG turns to Natalie and she drinks from the chalice. A swish of wind swirls around the two betas as the transfer is complete. GG takes the chalice from Natalie and puts it back on the table. “Jasmine please step forward”. I nod and step forward. As I do I see everyone removing themselves from their chairs and standing up. “I acting Alpha hereby announce the change in Alpha from Grandfather to Granddaughter”. He takes my right hand and cuts my palm. He holds my hand above the Chalice as it drips into the cup. “Earlier today everyone came and dropped blood into this bowl”. He points to the bowl sitting on the table. Gamma Chase walks up and takes the bowl and hold it up top the crowd. They all lower themselves to the ground. Then he takes the bowl to my GG. GG dips the chalice inside the bowl as my blood and the packs blood is mixed in the chalice. I pick up the chalice and drink the contents. He had an earthy after taste with a little metal. After I swallowed the last of it. I sat the chalice back on the table. Soon as I put the chalice down, I let out a loud growl. I felt my wolf come to surface. She was excited and ready to start work as Alpha. The crowd bowed their heads and stood up. Cheering and catcalling. I waved my hand to quiet the crowd. “I promise to be uphold the duty to the pack first. I will keep each of you safe and make our pack stronger than it has been before. I want everyone to know that each person in our pack means something to me. No ones job is beneath anyone here and everyone has a chance to say what they need to say and contribute to our growth. If you need anything feel free to come to me and talk. I will have an open-door policy. I hope that you will give me the chance to prove to be just as good a leader as my parents were and thank you again for coming”.  I concluded. “Now let’s go for that run and get come back for the real party to begin”!! I shouted and we all walked outside the back door as to not get in the way of the workers as they are still preparing for the party. Its about 5:45 and we start to disrobe for the pack run to conclude the ceremony. Those that can shift shifted and those that could not went back to their homes to get ready for the event. As I shifted first everyone stopped and starred at me. I realized that I have not been here and some of them are seeing me in wolf form first time. My Golden fur is glistening from the rays off the sun set. Standing next GG wolf Rex I tower over him by 3 inches.

Well Sasha I wasn’t expecting to look so tiny next to you Rex mind link me and said. I bow my head to him out of respect and let out another growl. This time I received growls back from the pack in acceptance of me being their Alpha. The bowed their heads and turned their next to me in submission. An then we took off into the forest. We ran for about an hour and some really wanted to come back and get dressed but Sasha wanted to run longer. We ended up staying for about 45 extra minutes running the borders and checking on the patrols that were out there. Nat mind link to say that people will be arriving within the next hour or so and I needed to be in the receiving line for the guest. While running back I felt as if something was off. It felt just like the day my parents died. Maybe I was just nervous I brushed it off and ran back towards the pack house. I shifted and changed back into my clothes. Over the last 5 years I become okay with shifting in the nude and I had no problems with it. I know some like to hide behind trees but at the end of the day I am an animal and I’m not about to tip toe around people. I love my body and I worked hard for it. As alpha I will be shifting at any given time. and every second counts. Why waste it is hiding behind a tree. Living in the sss for a year we literally stayed nude. So, I guess I’m use to it now. Again, I cant seem to understand why I fell so uneasy. I run up stairs and wait shower. I hope this party is a success.

 Giving my self a once over in the mirror I can honestly say I outdid myself with this outfit. I know Im going to break some hearts tonight. More than anything I really want to find this mate so I can save Sasha. Speaking of Sasha, she has been quiet since we came back from the pack run. Matter of fact she has been quiet all day. Sasha is everything okay. I’m okay just nervous about the party and this mate situation. Everything will be fine trust me. And if not the launch of my new app SuperMate will happen ASAP. SuperMate is my dating app for us. I has every feature you can think of. Personality test and it will pair you off with someone who is like, minded like you. I you want to be mated to other species it has that option as well. That was the hardest part because I had to use my contacts with other supernaturals to find out what was their process when looking for a mate. But eventually it all worked out. And I just have a few more kinks to work and it should be ready by the end of the month which is 3 weeks away. I sent out contracts to a few companies to help with the last little bit and only got a few replies. Hopefully something will catch by next week so I can start finalizing everything. I trust you Jas. Im feeling uneasy as if something bad will happen. I felt like that as well, but I didn’t sense any black magic and we did the patrol run. Maybe its just because we have not been here in 5 years. Well, that’s the only thing I could say to put her at ease for the moment and that seem to work.

Loud knocking and giggling interrupted me from my thoughts. Nat and Sara burst through my door without knocking. Any other time I would have found this annoying but for now I was okay. Nat walked in with an all-black mini sequenced cocktail dress on with green suede pumps. She had a matching green stylish fanny pack on her waist. Even in a party setting Nat will still rock her fanny. Her make up was done flawlessly and her long blond hair was pinned up in a bun so that she would not have to bother with it for dancing. She completed the look with a green emerald necklace with matching earrings. Sara had on a pink halter dress that seemed more prom than party, but I guess when your mated you must dress modest. As for me mate or not I am going to dress how I like. If he has a problem, then he has a problem. I turned towards them and asked what they thought of my dress. Nat and Sara mouths both dropped. They kept starring as if I grew two heads.

 “Okay so what do you guys think”? I bit my bottom lip nervously. “Is it that bad”? I urge them to say something. Finally, Nat spoke up. “If I was a man or even your mate there is no way I’m letting you stay in that dress all night”. She said, “That’s what I’m going for daaaaaaawling”! I wiggle my eyebrows suggestively. Sara finally spoke up “Your grandfather is going to kill you”. She stated matter of factly. “Im not worried about GG he should’ve told me about this before hand now he will just have to deal with it”. “Besides, he wants great grandkids and I’m just putting the bait on the hook”. I turned to make add my double-sided breast tape so that the girls stay in place all night. I add a few more touches like my Tiffany’s bracelet and I the ring my dad gave me for my 16th birthday. I do another once over then the door knocks again. I told whoever to come in and it was Matteo and Chase. Chase stares at me as if I he does not know who I am. And Matteo is snapping his fingers “Yes girl Yes”!! I love Matteo because behind closed doors he is a queen to the core but in public he is a total badass. Matteo has on his custom Armani fitted tux with gold cufflinks and some type of Italian loafers. Chase has on a tux as well with a pink handkerchief in the breast pocket. I guess mates color coordinate. Chase walks up to Sara and gives her a kiss on the lips and pulls her next to him. “Alpha brooks said what’s taking so long”. He says to no one in particular.

 “We just need to powder our noises and we will be down in 10 minutes”. Nat says and she reaches in her fanny for a powder as to show that is what she meant. She turns to me and winks. Sara opted to go with Chase as they left from my room.

“Matteo do you honestly think this dress is showing to much”. Asked as reassurance but even if he said it was I still wasn’t changing. “No baby girl you look good and if I didn’t catch for the other team, I would give you everything you wanted right now if you asked me. Hell I still might give you everything”. And we all busted out laughing at his statement.

 “Hurry up the driveway is filling with all types of cars and SUVs”! Nat said excitedly We walk out my room towards the living room area on my floor. Since I have gotten back, I have not decided what I was going to do. I was thinking of moving Matteo up here since its just me. I have my room. My parents’ room, 3 other rooms a kitchen movie/game room and laundry set up here. plus, an extra office. We open up the veranda that overlooks the entrance to the pack house. And see the long line. The valet stand is set up and ready. I guess their just waiting on me to welcome everyone. She was right and then I started to get that weird feeling again. I am sure what is going on but I’m going to get to the bottom of it sooner ot later. We started to head downstairs and out the front door to the valet stand. “JASMINE MARIE BROOKS”!! I turn to see my furious grandfather and equally furious GG headed towards me. I guess the dress was a little too much for the older crowd.
