His Golden Alpha

Chapter 1

5 Years later

Stepping off my private I exhaled softly and tighten the straps of my trench coat. Its been 5 years since I been back in the states. 5 years since the death of my parents and the surge in my powers I decided I needed to leave to figure things out. I could have easily shimmered to the pack house, but I needed more time to myself, so my personal assistant Matteo drove me there. I gave him the address and he put it in the GPS and headed west of Austin. I met Matteo in South America he was tall dark and very gay! Which was perfect because I was not interested in finding a mate at the time and he made the perfect companion. He was 6’2 slightly taller than me with a body of a Greek God jet black hair that was always in a man bun and green eyes. He had tattoos all up and down his body. He had a machete tatted on his neck which made him look more dangerous at first glance.  We met at the club when someone tried to rough me up. After I declined the advancements the guy kept trying to push up on me and just when I was about to blast my fireball Matteo jumps in and b**ts the guy to a pulp and we been together ever since. Turns out Matteo was a 300-year-old vampire. After the funeral, my GG made it a point to be more of a father and stepped out of retirement to help with the pack. Beta Jason Natalie’s father soon recovered from the crash but could not remember why the car suddenly stopped and exploded. All he remembers was my father helping him get out the car and then going back for my mother. My father died a hero, he loved my mother and I guess if she died, he would have wanted to die with her. When I finally came out my coma it was three weeks later. I missed the funeral of my parents and that crushed me more than anything. The coming out party was cancelled and all the packs understood. From what I was told the funeral was the biggest event in supernatural history. Dragons, witches, vampires, and even faires came out to pay their respects.  I gained a brighter hair color, and my eyes were hazel with flakes of gold. I reached out to my mother’s father and stayed with him for a year. We researched my wolf and the release of that power surge let me use my powers at will now. I spent time trying to control them and training even more. Now I was at full strength. I gained the ability to make fire orbs with my hands which was part of the dragon’s ability through their mouth. After leaving his pack I travelled more. I went to India for meditation, Japan for judo and Aikido, and then South America to the A***n for healing remedies. While on the sabbatical as I am calling it, I was able to start the first supernatural social media app SNM also known as Supernatural Media. The humans can’t not access the SNM network without proper clearance from us. I made special codes for every pack worldwide and the then the leaders of those packs, covens, and groups would give the information to their people. The first launch happened with my pack. It took a while to get everything worked out being as I was not there, but Natalie was more than willing to help me. She stayed with the pack to help with her father’s recovery plus train more as my future beta. It was hard to leave her and she understood the need for me to get better. We talked everyday and she became my eyes and ears on the pack. My GG stopped being the male chauvinist pig he was and respected me more and listened to my ideas. We talked everyday and it was refreshing at times. He still figured I needed a mate to keep the pack going but I was not ready for that just yet. Looking down at my phone my screen saver was that of my parents. I missed them every day. I had the car checked after the accident and it was believed to be foul play. I never shared that I information with anyone. I wanted to find who would do this and personally kill them myself.  Just as I put my phone down my phone ringed. Looking down it was GG. “hello GG”. I answered with a smile. He knew I was coming in today and I think he is ready for me to finally take the reins. After I left GG and my etiquette teacher Ms. Jones started spending more time together. So, I’m sure he is ready to have some alone time with her and enjoy the rest of his days with her. “where are you baby girl”? he inquired. “I’m closer than you think”! I smiled into the phone. “hurry up I’m ready to see you and hear about all your adventures”! I chuckled softly because we literally talk everyday so I’m sure it’s just him wanting to quit and get the hell out of dodge so he can go do what old people do. “20 minutes away sir”! “alright see you soon I will let the patrol know to let you pass”. I quickly hung up. As we ventured further and further down the road, I could feel my anxiety pick up. “STOP THE CAR”! I yelled to Matteo. He pressed on the breaks super hard and turned around as if we were being attacked. “What’s wrong J-B”? he said with a panic look on his face. I did not say anything I just opened the car door and got out. I exhaled heavily as I walked towards the spot where my parents died. Kneeling I touched the part of the road that the car was burning. Matteo exited the car a stood there looking. He did not say anything he must have figured out what I was doing. I did not hear him move from the car or close the door, but I felt his presence right behind me. “Your parents are smiling down on you my dear. They are glad your home and back to run the pack. Though gone in the physical sense their spirit is here and they are happy”. He said with his hands on my shoulders. I stood up and wiped the single tear from my face. “thank you for the words”. I turned around and got back in the car. As we passed into the pack territory relief fell over my body for the 1st time in 5 years. Maybe Matteo was right. This was what I needed. To come back home and take my rightful place as Alpha. We moved through the territory and everything was almost the same. I sent my request to GG to add more housed for families and a bigger training facility. I wanted to train our trainers so that they can pass those down to our warriors. While I was gone it was 2 rogue attacks. I guess they figured we were weak with the loss of our Alpha and Luna. GG ended up handling it. It seemed that they were not there for an attack but looking for something or someone. Since I was not there it cold possibly mean I was the target, or they were checking to see if the Alpha or Luna survived. Either was I am back now so if they should return, I will be ready and waiting. Pulling into the driveway I saw Ms. Jones, GG, Nat, chase and Sara. “welcome back Jas! You’re just in time for the party”! Sara said with a mischievous smile on her face. “what do you mean party”? I loved at her with a hint of annoyance. Everyone turned to look at GG with a confused expression on their faces. “you didn’t tell her”! Ms. Jones and Nat yelled at the same time. GG sheepishly smiled while rubbing the back of his head. “If I told her she would have just tuned back around”. He was right and I had to give it to GG he knew me very well. “what did you do GG”? I asked feeling my wolf ready to break free. She does not like surprises and has been very agitated with me for not trying to find a mate and being away from home this whole time. “Well I sort of invited a few packs over for a welcome home party”. He said but from the looks of it I could feel there was more. “and what else”. I pressed him to say. “And maybe a Alpha ceremony plus”. He whispered the last part. I could barely hear him even with wolf ears. “what else GG”! I said with more force. “And maybe a chance for you to meet your future mate”. He rushed out quickly. After he said that I felt my hand turning hot and the next then I knew a fire ball ended up knocking the tree that was in front of the house to ash! “How could you do this to me”? I asked him seething with anger. Instead of waiting to get a reply I shimmered to my room. I needed to get out of there before I hurt him or someone or something. He is still the controlling man he was when I left. I thought he would have changed. I kept running the family business even after I left, and it seemed like it still wasn’t good enough. “I turned more profits with my social media app and other technology advances then all the sub companies combined and yet he still was not happy. What else did I have to do to prove to him that I could handle things on my own without a man”? Jas he is just worried that you will be alone my wolf said. “Well he could have said something instead of forcing my hand”. I just think with all that’s happened to your parents and him being such a pain all this time that he just wants to make up for everything he done in the past with you and your parents. “He could’ve done this another way. I sighed. And why are you taking up for him? You hated him when he acted like this”? I’m not but it’s something you should know about me that I didn’t share with you. “Not you too? What is it? What is with secrets and plotting against me? What didn’t you tell me Sasha”? I was so frustrated I sat down on my bed. If we don’t mate we could loose our powers. It’s gift and a curse. While we were at your grand fathers pack a few years ago his wolf spoke to me. He said that when we reach a certain age if not mated our powers become dormmate until the next golden wolf is born. “Well that’s not that bad” I murmured. It is for me she said. “And why is that”? Because if you don’t mate and with a true mate I will cease to exist. The golden wolf is a gift and a curse to those who are born with it. I could feel her getting sad. I felt everything Sasha experienced and now she was sad and mad. And I knew deep down the mad part was with me and not wanting a mate. “Look Sasha I will go to the party and look for our mate tonight. If he is out there I will push up the release of the dating app for supernaturals I been working on. That way we can broaden our scope and narrow down the field. Would that make you happy”? She jumped up and down wagging her tail. Thank you Jas. Im not ready to leave you just yet. “Same here Sasha same here”.
