Sarah POV “Sarah! Sarah!” I looked over at the owner of the voice. Kate, the girl of yesterday, stood waving at me. My sister nodded at me before walking to the other side, leaving me. “Hey” I walked to Kate, as we resumed walking to the classroom. “Am fine, you are now in 01B which means we are classmates from now on” Kate said. “Oh, that's nice” “By the way, are you okay?" Kate asked, looking at me. “Yeah, I am fine. Why do you ask?” “Yesterday, Adrian was really mad, if not for your sister's intervention. I don't know what he might do.” Kate answered. This made me . He was injured. I don't know if he will make it to school. I read the information the headmaster gave to me yesterday. And all I can say is that he is one guy that's so unpredictable. A guy that is able to make everyone fear him, but also bring them together, forming a group. That even the less privileged benefit from. He seems to be someone with a back story. I looked forward, students either in duo, group or single. They were either standing or walking. My keen eye sight caught the figure of a young guy very far away obviously wearing the school official pants but he wore a black thick jacket. He rested silently on the wall, not minding the students avoiding him. His head was bent down and his eyes were closed. He was no other person than Adrian. His eyes opened for a split second almost as if he noticed me. But they closed back. How was I supposed to complete this mission if I can't get close to him? He acts so cold. But I don't see it as a challenge, I can get close to him, just have to find the right moment to meet him up close and tell him about the prophecy. I am sure that he could feel the connection between us. “Sarah, Sarah. Are you listening to me” Kate called out to me, dragging me back to the present. “Yeah, sorry I spaced out for a while.” I apologize “ What were you talking about again?” “I said the young Lieutenant Governor has just resigned from office and will be joining the school as a professor.” This came as a shocker to me. Although I have always been locked up in my castle, and my father the alpha king. He also controls most of the worldly affairs, in the northern part of the country. So I have been able to at least grab one or two things from him. “Why would the lieutenant governor resign, and to come to this school to work in” I asked the question that has always been on my mind. “You don't know? The lieutenant governor that you are talking about is Dante Peterson. The first son and the heir to the Petersons.” That came as a surprise to me. So Adrian has an elder brother? “I am sure you have noticed that the school is kinda deep in the woods. And despite that it is recognized as one of the best and oldest schools with the Highest population of students. But what you do not understand is that the school produces great scholars. Like everyone one that comes out from this gray hallow academy, gets to join the politics, military, business world and even the entertainment industry. And they all excel in what they do. There are rumors that the Petersons stand as a backing for some of the big politicians today, even the president isn't far from it.” So Dante coming here is to gain control. He must definitely have a huge ambition. Maybe he must have gone to serve as a lieutenant governor to gain experience before coming down here to fulfill it. My eyes went towards Adrian leaving the place he was staying a few minutes ago. “I am coming Kate, I will meet you in class today” I said to Kate before rushing towards Adrian. I didn't seem to notice me, as he walked slowly. But still I found it difficult to keep up to him. His leg seems to be passing through space. He walks slowly, very slowly, but why does it seem that he walks faster? This must be his power. Ability to control space. Creating its own dimension. I finally reached a long corridor, there were doors on each side of the wall. I speculated that they were either classrooms. But Adrian was nowhere to be found. He must be in one of the classrooms. I got ready to start searching when a hand touched my shoulder. That moment I freezed. My hands clutch tightly. Who was that, why didn't I notice the invader. “Why were you following me around like a lost puppy” My breath hitched. This wasn’t how it was supposed to go. I was meant to approach him… not get caught by him.
