Sarah held Adrian in his necks while Adrian's hands wrapped around her waist as he appeared straight outside Sarah's classroom class 01B.

“Thanks,” Sarah said. They had been sparring almost the entire afternoon. And she was just back for the last lecture.

Adrian nodded, not replying. He looked at Sarah for a moment, his face as cold as usual. But he felt lost for a moment, his hand wasn't as warm as before. The feeling. That touch. He folds his hand into a fist. Even though it was only for an instance. But that touch. For some reason he wanted to hold her forever. That feeling was something he had never experienced.

“Lecture has started, but I still need to be in regardless” Sarah looked at the closed door, she could vaguely hear a voice coming from it. She has missed the entire lectures and she honestly hopes not to miss this. It wasn't that she was worried that she would fail but her friend, Kate. She didn't know what that vampire boy did to her, and her heart has been eager to see her.

Adrian looked at the door. But something looked strange. He felt something, like an eye. Looking at him. Although he didn't see it, the feeling was there. And he was one who trusted his wolf senses. He looked away at first, but the pressure still persisted within him. This time it looked like the owner was careful at first, but later dared to spy on him.

“ The Audacity!”

For someone who has loved his private life, his eyes turned red. Not white, like his space power. But the reason why many resented and feared him. Sarah felt her blood for some reason boiling, she didn't know why but she couldn't control the flow in her blood. Although the attack wasn't meant for her. But the impact was enough to make her blood boil.

The environment felt heavy. Even the feeling of being watched disappeared, like it was never there. Adrian, not one to let things slide, tries to use his wolf senses in tracking that feeling, when a soft but scolding voice resounds in his head.

“Don't you dare cause trouble here Peterson brat!” Adrian stopped. In the whole of this academy, there were few people that dared curse him, even cursing his family name, and still moved unharmed. And one of them happens to be Laura, the witch. His father's lover. But they later fell out, because it was against the rule for anyone that wasn't a wolf to be crowned Luna of a great nation. Well Adrian never thought his father really loved her, his mother was a human when she gave birth to him. He just thinks he did this purposely.

Adrian redraws. His eyes revert back to normal. It wasn't that he was scared of her, although she could easily beat him. But that wasn't why. But because he had some respect for her. Someone who dares scold his father, and she was one of the few people who treated him right.

“Send that girl in, and be on the way” The voice this time around seemed calm, but one could tell it didn't leave room for negotiations. Adrian nodded although one could see that he was unwilling to leave matters like that. But, he could only clench his fist. Then looked at Sarah who felt shocked.

Sarah looked at the door. But without opening it. She could already conclude that the force inside was bigger than her, probably someone below her father level.

To be able to communicate via telepathy was something achieved by someone with high abilities.

Adrian looked at Sarah, but he didn't linger on her as he walked away.

Sarah watches Adrian leave. Breathing in deeply. She braces herself, calming her heart down. She twisted the knob, entering the class. The students looked over at the intruder. Some of the students who weren't human looked at her with mixed emotions. Although Sarah didn't really care, it would be embarrassing standing there. So she turned to the teacher. A fair beautiful woman stood standing, resting slightly on her desk. Looking at Sarah. Her face was soft and pretty, with clear skin and gentle features. Her eyes were bright but calm, always watching quietly.

Her lips were full, and she often had a small, knowing smile.

There was something about her face that felt peaceful… yet slightly strange, like she was hiding something.

She didn't say anything when Sarah met her.

“What happened, I didn't see you during lunch time. Where did you run to” Kate immediately leaned closer and whispered the moment Sarah sat down.

“Are you alright?” Sarah asked Kate. For some reason she didn't feel like lying to her. So she changed the topic.

“Yeah, you can say so. But, I was surprised that I slept in the cafeteria. I woke up with my spit all over the table, it was really embarrassing.”

Sarah chuckled seeing Kate's expression. Sometimes it was really fun hanging out with her. With Kate, she did not have to think about any mission. With Kate she didn't have to be on guard. She thought her sister was her best friend__ but times have changed.

Sarah felt eyes on her. Although she wasn't bothered. But a certain eye kept looking at her, as if trying to read and know everything about her. And most importantly, those eyes carried malice within it.

“Alright listen up guys.” Laura calls out after seeing Sarah settling down. “ Now the academy will be hosting their yearly competition, and this year there will be some twist to it.” Laura stood up straight. Her silence built anticipation in the class as everyone wanted to know what was going to happen, which change was going to take place. Laura continued, but her eyes darted to a person within the class.“ Now it won't just be you guys against the seniors. But teamwork instead. Now, the board of directors has changed the settings. All classes either in 1.2.3 and 4 will be in one group. And that group will be called team alpha. This goes on to all the A, B,and C. So since you guys are B class. You guys are called team Beta. So from tomorrow all B classes will join in the Hall besides the cafeteria. That's where our training begins.”

The class were amazed. Usually it was always between class 1 with the higher class. But now everything has changed

Sarah kept her head low, something crossed her mind. The record she received from the headmaster stated that Adrian was in class 4B. That means one thing, she was paired up with him.

What the heck is this? Is this fate or what?
