I was up before dawn, retching.
I told myself that was going to be the worst thing to happen today, but I knew that was a lie.
The chaos was only just beginning.
Joy took Caspian's place just before ten at night. I was dozing on the couch, tucked snugly under my blanket. Caspian left without a fight, though he did tell Joy to make sure I got to bed soon and ate a solid meal in the morning.
