''Thank you.'' Reed said.

Luciana who had been in the middle of waking up and sleeping yawned as she opened her eyes. She had just had the best s*x ever and she knew that in time to come, she would never forget any of this. ''We take a bath together,'' he said.

''Father developed a full blown stroke last week and this time, the doctors say he might not live.'' he said, finally.

Even though she hated him, Luciana didn't want it to affect Reed, the man she had come to love but she knew that was impossible because they were tied together. It was just like saying the rains should not fall on an ocean.

Luciana didn't want to get into a fight with him but what he just said angered her. She took a deep breath before facing him.

''Yes, I still hate him. Nothing has changed but what i would not want id for you to be affected by it.'' Luciana said.

''You know that's impossible right?'' Reed scoffed.

''Yes, I know that. As a matter of fact, i think we should take some time off and away from each other just to clear our heads.'' Luciana said.

''I really can't believe you right now.'' Reed scoffed.

Luciana ignored him. She grabbed her bag before walking out of the room. She closed the door with a silent click as she made her way towards the elevators.

At that moment, she had to figure out where this was heading.
