I know I should be shocked. I know I should feel like my whole world has just been turned upside down, but somehow… it just makes sense. It’s as if this old man has just validated something I’ve always known deep in my gut.

Somehow the revelation is… freeing. Like an invisible shackle has been released, I have no obligations, no ties to that evil man.
