Chapter 2: A Nightmare Come True

Jace POV

I don't know how to feel right now but this is a dream come true. I finally found my mate. I know I should be more excited then this but ... One major set back is .. she is a human.

I don't have anything against humans but I'm not sure if a human Luna would be a strong enough leader for my pack. I shouldn't underestimate her but it's the only thing I can do until then .

Until I can know what she is capable of and what she can bring to this pack I will watch her from afar and I will find her true potential. Even if it takes years. I, Jace Black of the Blood mood pack, won't give up on my mate, Dream Smith.

Dreams POV

I went to go and tell my parents a goodnight before I go and follow that scent. I wanted to find out myself what it was before it got to me first. One thing I didn't know is that it would turn into a nightmare come true.

I snuck out of my window to track down the smell, I can see that it leads towards the forest in my backyard. I walk into the forest and I feel a sudden pull after walking into the forest. It was like whatever was here, didn't want me to leave.

I don't know why but I had a feeling I belong in these woods. I don't know where I am but soon enough I might get the idea of where I am.

I walked around for about a mile for about a mile or so until I heard a tig break from nearby and I froze in my tracks. I looked around for what seemed to be a quick minute and kept on walking. This was until I felt breathing on my neck from right behind me.

I turned around quick and what I saw scared me for my life. I started walking in to opposite direction of where I saw ... That ... That thing.

I tired to run for god knows how long until I heard it running after me like ... It wanted me or something. I started running more, as fast as I could until I tripped over a stump. I knew my life would be over when I saw it hovering over me and staring into my eyes. I am Dream Smith and I am 17 years old and this is how my life changed for better or worse.
