78 Alice placed the flashlight on the floor. She positioned it so that it lit the corner of the room, without shining in Brooke's eyes. She walked over to Brooke and dropped to one knee, to her level. She put a comforting hand on her forearm. "Brooke? Brooke Tanner?" she asked her. Brooke blinked with long, curling lashes. She nodded. "Who are you?" "I'm Alice. Alice Parks. Are you hurt?" "I don't think so," Brooke said. "Where is he?" "The man with the crow mask?"
