Before Kenda would be able to take one more step backward, she stumbled over something and landed on the floor head first.
She groaned in pain and tried to gather her sprawled body. I stopped right in front of her. I looked down at Kenda who was scared like a puppy on seeing my sea rover blue eyes glinting dangerously.
I bent down and grabbed Kenda's nightgown. Pulling her up by her nightgown, I made her stand and let out a ferocious growl, "Tell me what the f**k have you done with my mate? Where is she?"
Kenda's face wasn't just grappled with shock but also plastered with shock. She stuttered out, "M… mate? I don't know where she is."
