Eve of the Zetsu Kaisho

.: HOLLOWS EVE CHAPTER 19 :.

In the midst of danger, right in the epicenter of her imminent doom, Kaila was unconscious. She couldn't move nor could she hear her friends pleas for her to move away from the dangerous, malevolent beauty that was Princess Blood Rose.

"With that girl's blood, I can re-create the perfect world for demons! And evil will reign over this world! AS it should have in the beginning! There is no fault-line! There is no in-between! There is only good and evil, and as far as I am concerned…..EVIL SHALL ONCE AGAIN TRIUMPH!" The demented princess proclaimed, as her rose vines began to storm upon Kaila with the intent to draw out most, if not ALL of her blood by piercing her body.

“NO! KAILA YOU HAVE TO MOVE!!! WAKE UP!!!” Tomomi screamed out at his friend to move out of the way, but unfortunately, Kaila couldn't hear him.

“KAILA YOU HAVE TO MOVE!!!” Amuki also pleaded out to Kaila to try and wake her up, but to no avail.

“KAILAAAAAA!!!!” Tomomi belted at the top of his lungs, his cries for Kaila to awaken echoed in her head….in fact, it echoed so much, it translated into someone completely different.

"Kaila…" She heard a familiar voice speak to her…..

Everything around her began to turn into blackness, as she woke up in an even scarier realm than before…..The sky had a full-blown blood-red glow, and its entire moonshine had engulfed the area in a massive red hue….Kaila's yellow eyes began to open, as she looked up slowly at the blood-colored moon.

“Wh….Where am I? ……What's going on? ……..the moon…..”

She stared at the moon, remembering the blood moon prophecy and the implications it comes with it…..this may be the end for her, as she is about to die by the hand of Blood Rose…or rather her vines. She took one good look at her hand……

“Is…..this it? ……It can't end like this……I can't die….I am the Grim Reaper. I'm supposed to…..” Kaila started to revel in her own lament…..could this have truly been it for her? …….Before she could have an answer, a sudden blood drop fell from the sky right into her palm.

Kaila blinked and looked at the drop of blood, then looked up at the moon another time, her eyes expanding with shock upon witnessing the visible change in the moon's appearance.

“T…The……The moon……it's bleeding…..Or rather….the sky is bleeding…..” She said out loud. As she observed the bleeding sky in front of her…..she heard the familiar voice once again.

"My dearest daughter….it's time…..I told you…I would never let anything happen to you…..now it's time for you to step up and do the same….Do you remember what death is…..? Why I marked you…..?" it was the deep, dark, haunting voice of her father calling out to her….she could hear his voice as she looked up at the moon, and began to see a dark, shadowy silhouette of herself sitting on top of the crescent of the moon as the sky simply dripped blood as if it was raining.

"DEATH IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER….NOW TAKE HOLD OF IT…IT IS TIME TO FULFILL YOUR DESTINY….."

"…Yes…." Kaila blinked twice and then transported herself back into the real reality that she was in. She opened her eyes immediately and rose up from her unconscious state, sitting up as if she was rising from the grave….

Her eyes were shadowed so you couldn't exactly see what she looked like, but this took everyone else by surprise. Amuki & Tomomi had confused expressions on their faces, while Princess Blood Rose smiled malevolently at Kaila’s apparent uprising.

"Ahhhhh…..you're awake. Now I can extract the blood just as easily! It's been fun reaper girl…..but don't worry! You can join your friends in the afterlife NOW! HAHAHAHHA!" Blood Rose sent her rose vines after Kaila, attempting to impale through her and take her blood, but as soon as the blood vines touched her body……They instantly disintegrated and turned into dust!!!

This surprised everyone present…Even Blood Rose was taken aback as the split screen showed the shocked reactions on everyone's faces. Kaila slowly turned to Blood Rose with her new eyes, got up on her feet…..and simply uttered these words.

"PREPARE TO FACE JUDGEMENT…" Suddenly she was surrounded by Neza, the Neza began to overflow all around the room and combine with her hollow aura. It exploded inside of the room and released such tremendous power inside of her that it nearly blew everyone away!

Blood Rose didn't expect this…..But she knew what had happened… Kaila had unleashed the true power of the reaper claw. She gained fangs, lost her hat, but her hair had turned Jet black, her dress was longer and torn up in several places at the bottom, and she had monstrous claws that stretched across her arms as well as her legs. She had also gained a long black tail, what looked to be reaper wings on her back, and a malevolent looking eye right in the middle of her chest.

But the biggest upgrade was the reaper claw….which now had two shining silver blades with deep curves protruding from two devilish looking skulls with horns on them that spiral and twist. The scythe also had a jagged handle and a large orb stuck at the bottom. She held it in her hands and stood with a fearsome aura that made Princess Blood Rose grimace with shock…..

“What….What is this?! Where in the hell did all of this Neza come from?!” Princess Blood Rose said as she could feel the overwhelming Neza that overflowed from Kaila's new form. Everyone else had expressions of shock and awe on their face, all except Jack, who was visibly intrigued by Kaila's new form.

“Well I'll be damned…..I didn't think she'd be able to do it this early…..Hehehehehehe…..” Jack commented on the situation at hand.

Kaila stood facing the demented princess with a fearsome visage, as her blood-red/magenta colored eyes glared the princess down. Kaila took a minute to examine her situation and wondered what happened herself, she had no idea what was going on. All she knew was….she felt powerful. Powerful enough to defend her friends so she wouldn't have to watch them die right before her eyes…..she had the power to control fate, right in the palm of her hands. Though I guess that's what happens when you're able to utilize the power of death's existence…..you can defy fate.

“Wow….This is incredible…..” Kaila looked at her hand again, as it was covered in black and her nails had turned into incredibly sharp claws. They flashed back and forth from her human hands to her monstrous-looking new hands as she examined them.

“I've never felt power like this……it's amazing…..” She turned her attention back towards Blood Rose, who grunted slightly at the sight of Kaila's terrifying new form. “YOU……..” She said out loud as she grasped her huge scythe with one hand and pointed it towards Blood Rose's throne. “Prepare yourself for Judgment evil witch…….Death has come for you.”

Blood Rose grimaced a bit, but then started chuckling. “Hmhmhmhmmh…..hahahahahha!!! That's cute. If you think for a second I'm intimidated by the fact that the Blood Moon has given you a little power boost, you're highly mistaken.” She then raised her hands in the air and used her magic to create a little rose garden right in front of her. Once she snapped her fingers, the rose petals then spread throughout the air and levitated right in front of her.

“Rose Blood Petal Storm….” She then sent the rose petals right after Kaila, who simply stood there glaring Blood Rose down. However, her aura quickly switched from black & blood red/magenta, to pure blackness! It enveloped her as the petals stormed on her and made a direct hit.

“Hmph…..I'll be happy to pick the blood from your dead corpse as well.” Blood Rose confidently said with an evil smirk. However, that smirk was taken away from her when she noticed that the Nezā all around her made all of the rose petals dissolve into dust.

Kaila swished her enormous blade in the air and cleared all of the black dust away, still standing hard with her aura radiating and without a single scratch on her.

“Tch….how annoying….” Blood Rose said, raising her hands up in the air. “Hell Spikes!” She swished her hands in an X formation, as a plethora of giant hellish thorns came up from the ground in a wave formation that was heading right for Kaila.

Kaila simply responded by bringing her blade back down to the ground, and once the spikes had come close enough…. She instantly cleaved through them all with an upwards strike! “Crescent scythe……” She had somehow managed to master the move. But this time it was enhanced, as the force of the attack was so great she had cut through a multitude of them all at once.

Kaila brought her scythe down, and at this point Blood Rose was getting angry. “Grrrrrrggh…..now you're starting to really get on my NERVES!!!” She quickly used her magic to summon a massive garden of hellish plant abominations, just like the one she did before. She also created a plethora of massive plant vines to attack Kaila with, all of which immediately went after her.

“Kaila watch out!!! Those plant vines can spew poison demon spores!!!” Amuki called out as the vines began to attack Kaila.

Kaila stood her ground and watched the vines come towards her, but once they struck…..she moved fast enough to dodge them in an instant! A three-way split screen showed Tomomi's Amuki's, & Princess Blood Rose's reactions all at once.

“She's so fast!” Amuki said out loud. Kaila ran into the fray with virtually no fear, which is not like her at all. She went to work on the princess's hellish garden and began cutting up several of the monstrous plants in the vicinity. One of which was a giant piranha plant with massive sharp teeth and vine tentacles growing out of its back. It tried to chomp down on Kaila, but Kaila easily slashed its head in two with her blade.

More vines began to storm on her all at once, but she dodged every attack and countered with a swing of her blade, cutting up many of the princess's vines at once. She cut several of them in a row and spun her blade around in the air, landing on her feet in a position that showed the reaper claw in a new light underneath the blood moon.

Amuki gasped upon further examining the reaper claw, she noticed it's nearly satanic design as Kaila had somehow made it sharper. You could tell due to the massive glimmering shine coming off of the blade's underhand side.

“Hmmmm…..mighty good show. Heheheh….” Jack would never admit this, but he was actually somewhat enjoying Kaila's performance. He felt like he trained her all too well in this regard, though the thought of her unlocking this new power of hers out of the blue does confuse him a bit.

Kaila looked behind herself and saw a giant plant monster shaped like a basilisk fire giant thorns at her, she spun her scythe around and blocked them from striking her with elegant but skillful grace, and then swung her blade from the ground up in order to unleash a massive wave of her reishi that completely annihilated the monster all at once.

Afterwards, Blood Rose grimaced even harder than before. She couldn't believe this little girl was doing a massive number to her plants, so she raised her hand and commanded her garden of hellish abominations to do her bidding…. “KILL HER!!! RIGHT NOW!!!”

The plants immediately jumped Kaila and dive bombed her, looking to devour her all at once. But Kaila obviously had other plans….. “Zetsu……..” Kaila c****d her weapon back several feet….Amuki knew what was coming up next.

“GET DOWN……” Amuki said with slight dismay as everyone took cover. “ARAMESHII….” Kaila swung her blade and then released the reaper claw's signature technique, but this time with a black & red glow instead of black & orange. The attack itself took the form of a giant skeleton head that completely devoured the demonic plants and caused them to dissolve into nothingness.

The attack also broke through Blood Rose's defenses, she was about to finally get the drop on her! Or so it seemed…. The attack however connected and exploded near Blood Rose's throne. A lot of smoke gathered, but once it settled Amuki & Tomomi came back up and examined the area. Kaila was still standing hard without a single scratch on her…..But so was Blood Rose.

Blood Rose's wounds from earlier had healed slowly, and she managed to put up a demonic seal just in time to defend herself from Kaila's attack.

“Oi…you alright?” Amuki looked to her left and saw that Jack had come to her side. She smiled at him and even shed a single tear of happiness, relieved that he was okay. “Oh JACKY…..” She hugged his neck crying somewhat, which left Jack slightly annoyed.

“Don't be such a sourpuss…..” He said to her, patting her back in order to hopefully calm down her distress. Tomomi also got up on his feet, and rubbed his head. “That was crazy…..I've never seen anything like it….” Tomomi remarked.

“Get used to it human….the party ain't ova' yet. Hmhmhmhm…..” Jack commented on the situation, as Kaila still stood before Blood Rose as her only challenger.

Blood Rose let down the demon seal and stared Kaila down with an intense glare, but then smirked, still confident that she could defeat her. Kaila's stone cold, yet frightening expression had not changed, as she also engaged Blood Rose in a stare down without a hint of fear in her eyes.

“Well….isn't this interesting? I can't believe I'm saying this…..” Princess Blood Rose said as she started to slowly clap for Kaila. “But you did it……and so early too. This makes your blood even richer than before! It works out even better!” Blood Rose said while clapping for her.

“What in the hell are you talking about? ……” Kaila said to her while narrowing her angry crimson rose red eyes.

“What could I ever be talking about? Why….you've unlocked your Zetsu Release my dear. Hahahahahahah!!!” Kaila still gave Blood Rose an intense stare while her aura started to subside.

“This is perfect, now with the reaper claw's zetsu release fully realized, I can forward my plans to carry out my destiny to the fullest extent! …..And it's all thanks to you. I should thank you reaper girl. You've made the game all too easy…..” Princess Blood Rose remarked as Kaila continued to glare her down.

“It's like you gift wrapped yourself and brought the gift right to me. All I need is to extract it, and my destiny will finally be realized…..The witchling race will die…..the realm of purgatory will fall……and demons will rise up and take back what rightfully belongs to US!” Princess Blood Rose remarked with an evil smile.

Amuki grimaced at the situation, but then look back at Kaila and noticed something odd….she was virtually showing no fear. It wasn't like the last time they met the demon princess, where Kaila was too scared to even move let alone do anything to stop her.

“Something definitely surprises me though…..I find it interesting how you are not cowering in fear. Last time I checked your place was on the ground….maybe it is time for me once again to put you the-“ Before she could finish her sentence, Kaila immediately interrupted her.

“Shut the hell up.” Kaila told her flat out, causing Blood Rose to grimace at her and growl. “Grrrrrggh! What did you say to me you little brat?!”

“You heard me…..I'm tired of hearing your s**t talk…..” She then raised her scythe and pointed it at Blood Rose. “With power like this…..I'm not afraid of you. I'm sure as hell not afraid of dying in this world either.” Kaila remarked. This confirmed Amuki's suspicions of Kaila's newly found bravado.

“If anyone's afraid it's you. If you're not the one who's scared to come and fight me one on one then get off of your damn high horse.” She bravely remarked, holding true to her words.

“Grrrrrggggggghhh……” This snappy comeback from Kaila actually angered Blood Rose, as she gripped the arms of her throne, nearly breaking them from gripping them so hard. But….she closed her eyes, and calmed herself.

“Hmhmhmhmmh………Hahahahha…..HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!” Blood Rose laughed psychotically at Kaila's comments, laughing them off in an attempt to not show fear.

“What's so funny? …..” Kaila said while continuing to glare Blood Rose down.

“Oh nothing…..it's just that I find it funny….you…challenging ME?! HAH! That's a laugh….but if you're willing to dig your own grave, so be it. I will still have your blood by the end of this battle anyway.” And so….Blood Rose slowly rose from her throne and walked into what's left of the room in order to meet Kaila halfway into battle.

Smoke gathered around and the winds blew, as the essence of excitement filled the air. A showdown, the first of many between them, was about to go down. Kaila glared down her opponent, while Blood Rose still had that confident smile on her face. The two ladies then released their auras while Amuki, Jack & Tomomi looked on with both anticipation and fear.

“Holy s**t….they're actually gonna fight it out right now?!” Tomomi asked. “Well…they ain't standin' there just to play patty cake. Are they human? Heheheheheh……” Jack was excited to see how much Kaila had improved. He was ready, but Amuki & Tomomi were terrified of the fight that was about to go down, they worried about the safety of their friend. Was she truly strong enough to even contend with this monster of a demon princess?

“Amuki….Tomomi….Jack…..back off. I don’t want you getting hurt in this fight. So find someplace safe.” Kaila told them.

“Wait a second, don't we get a say in this?!” Tomomi blurted out. Jack put his hand in front of Tomomi, wanting to respect Kaila's wishes. “Shut it human…..If the girl wants us to take shelter….then we're takin' shelter. Besides…..I wanna see this. You two go and hide. I'll be fine.” Jack said, folding his arms and continuing to take interest in the fight unfolding in front of him.

“Alright….Just be safe honey…..” Amuki picked up Tomomi by the shoulder and carried him to a safe place behind Blood Rose's throne.

“Looks like we've got an audience……let's see what you can do reaper girl.” Blood Rose said, as she extended her arm and used her reishi to form a single, demonic sword to combat Kaila’s blade.

“My name is Kaila Amiyuki. And in the name of Lord Death…..I will bring you to judgment.” Kaila's aura spiked as she got into position to combat Princess Blood Rose.

“I don't give a damn what your name is. I won't need to after your dead.” The confident demon princess said as she took a position that was different from the one Kaila took.

The tension was mounted, and the stage was set. Jack watched on the sidelines, while Amuki & Tomomi observed from a safe distance behind Blood Rose's throne. Dracula was still knocked out thanks to Tomomi, but Blood Rose paid him no mind.

After a moment of pre-battle tenure that let the feeling sink in… Kaila stormed off and immediately ran towards Blood Rose with her blade held back. She covered it in Nezā and swung at Blood Rose, but Blood Rose blocked with her own demonic blade causing a clash to happen in which both combatants got in each other's faces.

“I hope you're ready for your first REAL battle in purgatory…because it just might be your last!!!” Blood Rose said as she forced Kaila off of her and swung her demonic black & red blade at Kaila. Kaila blocked it and the two ladies exchanged bladed blows back and forth. Kaila fought Blood Rose with a mix of Naginatajutsu and graceful Isshin Ryu & Kickboxing styles while also focusing on scythe play, countering every one of her moves.

Blood Rose's form of attack was rather strange and unknown, as she fought with forceful and powerful strikes, focusing all of her dark power into her arms. After dodging three scythe swings from Kaila, she charged a dark energy into her hands and punched her. Kaila dodged said punch and a blast of darkness from Blood Rose's fist the wall behind her.

Kaila responded by using the reverse side of her scythe to hit Blood Rose in the face many times, but she grabbed the scythe's hilt and brought Kaila in close for a close-range s***h attack. Kaila blocked the attack and responded by using crescent scythe to break through her guard and counter her, but Blood Rose barely managed to dodge the attack.

“What the hell? She's faster….I had better be on my guard…..” Blood Rose said to herself in her mind.

Kaila let out a war cry as she threw a mighty haymaker punch to Blood Rose's temple, which she managed to block, but her punch was also covered in a macabre darkness that Blood Rose felt was almost causing her hand to deteriorate.

“GGH!” Blood Rose let go of her hand and used her own dark energy to emit a pulse of demonic power that forced Kaila backward. Kaila slid backward but then spread her large demon wings and jumped into the sky….

“Zetsu….ARAMESHII!!!” She swung her satanic scythe with a massive amount of concussive force and coated it with Nezā, sending a powerful wave of surface-deteriorating blackness towards Blood Rose.

Blood Rose noticed Dracula was right in the middle of it, so she got in front of him and lifted her hand up in the air, summoning many demonic shadows to come and shield him and herself from Kaila's powerful attack.

After the attack had subsided, the entire room was covered in Kaila's blackness, and all of the plants from before had deteriorated. The only things that vaguely remained were the pods that contained all of her nightmarish experiments. Blood Rose looked back at her ruined laboratory….her life's work was in danger.

“GRRRGGHHH…YOU annoying…LITTLE…FUCKING BRA-“ Before Blood Rose could finish her sentence, Kaila appeared before her and sliced right through her shoulder, cutting her straight open. Blood managed to spill all over her, as it rained down slightly from Blood Rose's cut shoulder. She looked up at Blood Rose and glared at her with a fearsome look in her crimson red eyes.

“AAAAGGGGHH!!! YOU…YOU LITTLE BRAT!!!” Blood Rose slid back while holding her shoulder in pain. Was Kaila actually doing this? She was getting the drop on Blood Rose! She's actually pulling it off!

The blood dripped down her entire body, but Kaila didn't care. Her focus was entirely set on Blood Rose, as she looked at the demonic princess with her Nezā aura re-surfacing. “So much for the blood prophecy……” She said out of her mouth.

Blood Rose was now officially pissed, she went off on Kaila and raised her hand. “YOU LITTLE PEST…..Take THIS!!!” She sent a plethora of vines towards Kaila and all of them stormed on her, taking the shape of a stake that was going to drive right through her heart. Kaila intercepted this and combined both her dark power and her Nezā power into both arms. She then c****d her fist back and slammed it right into Blood Rose's vines, causing them to explode all the way back to the spot where she was standing in a flurry of dark energy.

Blood Rose evaded the attack, but Kaila moved too quick for her to keep up with. Moving seemingly like a shadow and striking her multiple times with her scythe, cutting her in several places as her large shoulder wound started to slowly heal. “GH! …GAAH! …NNGH!!!” Blood Rose up-ed the anti and used her own demonic blade to counter all of Kaila's attacks from all sides.

Kaila re-appeared from the ground as a shadow right behind her and went in to cut off Blood Rose's head, but as she swung her blade Blood Rose intercepted the attack with her hand, blocking the said attack from connecting. The two of them traded blows, both physical and bladed, back and forth for a short time before colliding fists. With their fists full of dark energy, Kaila countered Blood Rose by bringing her in for a knee to the gut, and then judo flipped Blood Rose on the ground.

She flew into the air and raised her hand quickly to gather enough Nezā and some of her own Dark Hollow energy into a ball in the sky.

“What?!” Blood Rose said in shock.

“Oh my god….she's become so powerful in such a short amount of time….how is this possible?!” Amuki said while observing the situation.

“Hmhmh….Guess I was wrong about you Midnight….you've got the moxie after all. Heheheheh….now let's see what you can do with Zetsu Orengai.” That must be the name of the attack Kaila is currently using.

“HAAAH!!!” Kaila threw the ball of disintegrating darkness down at Blood Rose as it sparked with dark energy that was way out of control. But she managed to teleport and dodge out of the way before It could leave a mark on her. The after-effects of the attack showed that Blood Rose would've been annihilated if the attack had connected, as a small crater was left inside of the floor where she was.

“I cannot believe this…..how is it that she's gotten so much stronger?.....This girl is nothing but a cowering brat that was chosen to be grim reaper due to nepotism…..and yet she's already conquered her Zetsu Release in such a short amount of time?! ……Hmph….guess it's time to end this.” Blood Rose had decided that enough was enough. She couldn’t battle her in this state, she needed to get her plans in order.

Kaila landed on the ground, nearly breaking the stone pavement into pieces upon landing. She then looked up at Blood Rose and continued to give her the same unsettling glare that she's been giving her for the longest time. “This fight is over…..I don't see any more magic tricks up your sleeve so unless you admit defeat…..” Kaila spun her scythe around and pointed it at Princess Blood Rose. “This is your reckoning. Prepare to die……” She said with a slightly deeper tone of voice.

Princess Blood Rose slowly began to clap for her. Which puzzled Kaila and caused her eyes to expand slightly. “Very….VERY well done. I'm impressed...... you've grown so powerful, so quickly….but if you think YOU have the power to control my fate….You are highly mistaken.” Kaila's expression did not change, but she did put her scythe down.

“Fate is not something you can play with you little punk…..Trust me I know…..fate has screwed me over more times than I can count…..So if you think I'm going to lose to you, you're DEAD wrong. Though I will say….this fight is over. It could end in one of two ways…..” Blood Rose said with a malevolent, taunting smile.

“First off…..I could simply kill you right in front of your friends while they watch helplessly in terror, as they witness their only hope for survival fall to the likes of the demon princess…. OR your pumpkin headed friend over there could take over the battle for you once you die. Those are your options….though …..to be honest…hmhmhmahaha….It looks like you’d rather be more inclined to take the latter option rather than the former!!! Hahahahahah!!!” She laughed at Kaila, causing her to grip her scythe blade, and growl in anger at her words. How dare she gloat about winning when Kaila clearly has her on the defensive!

“I'm tired of your talk….Time to silence you for good!” Kaila made a mad dash towards Blood Rose, and as she approached her, Blood Rose’s signature smile began to re-surface.

“*gasp* NO KAILA!!! IT'S A TRAP!!!” Amuki said out loud.

But it was too late, Kaila approached Blood Rose with her Scythe drawn back, and the moment she got too close….she suddenly stopped in mid-air.

“GGGRH?! …What….what's….going on?!” Blood Rose created a large magic circle underneath them, as she had stopped Kaila right in her tracks using her blood magic.

“Hell Garden!” Blood Rose swished her hands in the air, and from the magic circle came a massive pillar of thorny rose vines and beautiful deep red colored roses. The pillar of roses & vines trapped Kaila & Blood Rose inside, as Kaila's screams of intense pain could be heard from inside even by Amuki & Tomomi's ears.

“Kaila!!!” Amuki said out loud.

“KAILA!!!!!!” Tomomi screamed out loud for his friend, as Kaila uttered intense screams of agony from inside the pillar. Her arms, her legs, and even parts of her neck were being pricked by the sharp rose thorns inside of Blood Rose's hell garden. Kaila grimaced and bore the brunt of the pain, but she was also met face to face with Blood Rose, who didn't seem affected by the pain in the slightest.

“Now….do you see what you are up against my dear? …..” She reached through the rose vines and thorns to grab Kaila by her cheeks. “I haven't even shown you my full power yet…..but I'm afraid our time is up for today…..Make no mistake….we WILL meet again. But the next time I will not be so merciful on you….in regards to why I am sparring you…..It seems I underestimated Lord Death's powers…..My entire plan will need re-figuring….but there's one component that I still have that allows them to move forward.” Blood Rose said whilst staring into Kaila's eyes with a malicious smile on her demented face.

Kaila growled and glared an even sharper glare at the evil demon princess. “….Why…..why are you doing this?! ….What purpose does destroying purgatory serve for you?!” Kaila asked Blood Rose. “If you break the balance between this world and the worlds above and below….there will be hell to pay. The creator will not let you get away with such fallacies of sin. He'll come after you…..” Kaila said while bringing her head down slightly.

“The Creator? …….Hahahahahahahaha!!!! ….I am not worried about the creator…….My purpose is simple…..to make this world the original haven for demons that it once was……..there's only one way to do something like that. One way in which the creator himself won't be able to stop…..The Salvent.” Princess Blood Rose said, confusing Kaila.

“The Salvent?.......” She asked.

“You will come to know what the Salvent is soon enough reaper girl…….as for my personal reasoning………it's nothing….. BUT REVENGE.” Blood Rose dramatically said.

“GGGGH!!!!” Kaila grunted as Blood Rose formed her hand into a piercing veil that impaled through Kaila's chest, sucking most of her blood into her vines. “Now….have a good sleep my dear……I'll see you next time…….Hmhmhmhmahahahaha…..” Blood Rose continued to laugh malevolently, as Kaila's pupils began to dilate and transform back to normal. Her crimson rose red eyes turning back into yellow.

Blood Rose's unsettling laugh echoed, as the magic circle disappeared and the vines subsided. Kaila was dropped onto the floor, as Amuki & Tomomi ran from behind the throne and caught her just in time. Kaila's form finally subsided and she had changed back into her pre-released state, with curly midnight blue hair and a black & white dress instead of something black & orange.

“Oh my goodness…..this is awful…..” Amuki said, as she cried tears right by Kaila's side.

Tomomi went up to his friend's side and grasped her hand. “I'm sorry Midnight…..I couldn't protect you this time……” He too shed tears for Kaila, as she was left in a condition of faint breathing. Jack folded his arms and closed his eyes. He too felt a slight discomfort with the situation, but he then noticed that Blood Rose was gone, but Dracula was not.

“Hmmm…..what in the bloody 'ell is this? Did she leave her lackey behind? ……time to handle some unfinished business.” Jack said to himself in his mind, as he released a slight bit of his aura. He then approached an unconscious Dracula and started to raise his arm fully, lighting his entire arm up with hellfire. He was going to make Dracula's soul burn while he was down……

But suddenly, something strange started to fill up the air. Purple looking magic particles came into the room and gathered around the pods holding all of the nightmare creatures, as well as Dracula himself. Jack didn't pay it any mind, as he raised his hellfire-coated claw into the air, ready to strike down on Dracula's helpless state.

“G'night bats…….I knew thee well. ONCE……” But just as he was about to put Dracula out of his misery, the purple particles started to glow around Dracula and as they started to glow, Dracula suddenly disappeared! This caused a frown to strike Jack's face, as many of the other nightmare abominations started to disappear as well. The ones in the pods disappeared, as did the entirety of Blood Rose's hell garden…..

In regards to Steinman & Wolfie's fight, Ronove had engaged Wolfie in a one-on-one battle of his own. The bridge was a lit with intense explosions of dust, as Wolfie swung his large claws at the extremely quick Ronove.

“Furry butt cannot catch me!!! HAHAHA!!!” Ronove playfully jumped off of Wolfie's head, and then threw his chains at him, Wolf dodged his chain attack which nearly broke the bridge apart. He then summoned his reishi to his fists and jumped at Ronove once again. “LYCAN MEGATON RUSH!!!!” Wolfie laid down a flurry of fast, but powerful strikes on Ronove, all of them covered by his deep blue reishi.

“Regalus IMPUM ARACHNE!!!” Five large bloody spider legs grew from Ronove's back and countered Wolfie's attacks as the two of them traded blows even quicker than before. But Wolfie broke through his attack by bashing Ronove's spider legs with his claws and then knocking him back down with a roundhouse kick.

“GAAAAAYYHHH!!!” Ronove crashed into the bridge, and Wolfie landed smack-dab in the middle of it.

“I'm tired of these games….GET SERIOUS YOU LITTLE TWERP!!! Or else I will demolish you!!!” Wolfie proclaimed.

“OOOOOHHH!!! Furry but wants Ronove to get serious eh?! Then Ronove will start having fun now! Looks like the moon is going to go down soon! So now…Ronove has to up the anti….” Ronove looked at Wolfie with evil intentions. But then all of a sudden, he started to glow purple.

“What?! What's going on?! NO! It cannot be time to go now! RONOVE IS NOT DONE PLAYING WITH FURRY BUTT!!!! STOP!!!” Ronove exclaimed, as he suddenly disappeared before Wolfie's eyes, cutting the fight short.

“What the?!” Wolfie exclaimed in confusion. “HEY MUTT!!!!” Steinman called out to Wolfie.

“I'm having a bit of trouble over here!!!....GGGGH!!..” Steinman's reishi output was about to give out, he could no longer support the entire tower's weight with his dwindling reishi supply.

“Go get the others! I can't keep this place up for much longer!!!” Steinman said.

“Hmph! You got it. Just try and hold out for a bit longer!” Wolfie said to Steinman. With that being said, he got on all fours and immediately made a mad dash to find his friends, as time was ticking for all of them to get out of the Black Castle in their weakened states. The creator only knows if they can all make it out in time…………
