Anabel shifted in her seat, she wasn’t sure if he was being serious or if he just wanted to get a reaction out of her. “Um, why are you doing this?” she said shaking her head.
“Doing what exactly Ms. Knight?” he said raising one eyebrow.
Anabel held her breath, how was she to answer this question? “Why do you want to torture me? I’ve already seen Mike.” She said putting the food to the side of her.
“Do you want me to show you where he’s been?” She frowned. “No what I mean is, do you want to see what I put Mike through to get him to submit to me?” he taunted her; he knew he could get under her skin by bringing up painful feelings she had. He fed on her desire to kill him.
Anabel didn’t answer him
